Vintage Coca Cola Toys
From the Coca Cola Bear to Coca Cola trucks there are lots of toys that are advertising toys for coca cola. This is one huge corporation and they have produced many items that are toys for children with their logo on it. Of course Coca Cola has probably made lots of money off their advertising toys but they have became a big collectible and some people have just about anything and everything made with the coca cola logo on it.
I have a couple collectibles myself. Love the little penguins and polar bears. The commercials are great too at Christmas time.

Koolatron CC10G Coca-Cola Can-Shaped 8-Can-Capacity Fridge, RedReviewsVery Disappointed. I purchased as a Christmas present. It stopped working suddenly, we barely used it and its only mid January. The power plug burned out. Dont waste your time or your money. Not worth it. ....A week after my son got this for Christmas it shut down, never to work again. It looks cool in his room and draws attention, but its appearance is the only thing going for it. We put an Ice pack on the shelf and it keeps things cool, not cold, but a least there is no Fire Hazard! If you want cute, buy it but don't have high expectations. I got this for Christmas and it stopped working after 6 months. I called the manufacturer (Koolatron) and they said it only has a 90 day warranty. When I said it's only been 6 months, they said that the refrigerator was from China, so it wasn't warrantied past 90 days. They offered that I could buy a new motor $30 or new AC adapter ($40). Don't buy this please. You can do a lot better without the hassle. I also had to buy a little thing that turned it on/off every night, so the total cost of this thing far outweighs its cuteness. My son loves this. It adds detail to his room. His friends get a kick out of seen a huge coke can in my sons room I love this fridge it keeps cold things cold and hot things hot. One of the best purchases I've made this summer! Average Rating:![]() |

Coca-Cola Personal Fridge with AC Adapter - KWC4ReviewsVERY HAPPY WITH THE LOOKS AND HEAVY DUTY QUALITY OF THE REFRIDGEERATOR. JUST WHAT I EXPECTED. When I bought this fridge refurbisheed I thought that at least I would have a while before the product stopped working. When I got it, even after following the stated directions, the mini fridge stopped working after a week. But I have to admit, it was a cool fridge I just wish it continued to work. I didn't get any hassel about wanting to return the fridge. In fact I just got my refund today. This is a great little fridge for the bedroom. The one pictured, however, is not exactly like the one I received. The words across the front are different. Also, it says it can be used for heat/cold, but there is no switch to go from one to the other. Only on or off for the fridge. But I wanted it for the fridge, not for heating, so it's fine for me. Fast, safe shipping. Perfect condition. I shopped small refriderators for several weeks, and thought this was the best deal for the money. I was wrong! It worked fine for about 90 days, before it quit working altogether. Don't waste your money buying this fridge. The little fridge works OK, but if you leave it plugged into your cig lighter overnight, when you get in your car the next morning, the car battery will be dead. Carry a set of jumper cables! The catch on the door was hard to figure out - you have to slide it left or right, instead of pulling on it. The fridge works OK, and will keep the contents 30 degrees below the car interior as advertized, but watch out for your battery! Average Rating:![]() |

The Coca-Cola Can Puzzle 3D Jigsaw Puzzle 40pcReviewsI have used this as a starting point for the early adolescents I work with to use three dimensional puzzles. It works as a starting point for success and understanding how a 3-d puzzle works. That it is a familiar object, relatively easy to do helps establish more confidence in their skills. They move up to a considerably larger, more complicated globe next. Makes a nice unique gift for anyone who likes Coca-Cola items or puzzles. Nothing spectacular, just an interesting collectible or conversation piece. It is slightly weighted and realistically designed. One of our family members was fooled for a moment into thinking it was a real can! We bought this as a Christmas gift for our daughter who likes doing puzzles. We also bought her the Springbok Snowman's Delight 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle. Her husband collects Coca-Cola items, so we thought she would enjoy receiving some Coca-Cola for herself. The Coca-Cola Can Puzzle was a hit with the whole family. It's a fun forty piece puzzle and doesn't take long to do. This puzzle makes me thirsty! You might want to do this puzzle while sipping a nice cold Coca-Cola!~ Mrs. B. Average Rating:![]() |

Coca-Cola Collectible Bean Bags & Plush (Collector's Guide to Coca Cola Items Series)ReviewsCoca-Cola bean bags are instantly recognizable by their bottle of Coke. But while Polar Bears are obvious, it's harder to distinguish Jaguars from Cheetahs. Luckily, this handsome book contains large, colorful photographs and pertinent details to help a collector manage a wide variety of Coca-Cola bean bags critters. And, the comprehensive list of all Coca-Cola bean bags in Appendix A is a very useful feature to track what's in your collection. The chapter on tags is especially helpful, with highly readable photos of the in's and out's of the authentic tags. It's too bad the country flags were not similarly illustrated for the International sets so we could learn more about the country each critter came from. Still, it's a great book to show kids what different animals look like in all the countries where Coca-Cola is sold. Average Rating:![]() |

History of Coca Cola
The first Coca-Cola recipe was invented in Columbus, Georgia at a drugstore by John Stith Pemberton, originally as a cocawine called Pemberton's French Wine Coca in 1885. He may have been inspired by the formidable success of European Angelo Mariani's cocawine, Vin Mariani.
In 1886, when Atlanta and Fulton County passed prohibition legislation, Pemberton responded by developing Coca-Cola, essentially a non-alcoholic version of French Wine Cola. The original recipe was made witout carbonated water, but was added later when Pemberton was mixing the drink for friends without the carbonated water and accidentally added it to a glass. His friends loved it more and he decided to continue making his drink with the carbonated water instead.
The first sales were at Jacob's Pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 8, 1886. It was initially sold as a patent medicine for five cents a glass at soda fountains, which were popular in the United States at the time due to the belief that carbonated water was good for the health. Pemberton claimed Coca-Cola cured many diseases, including morphine addiction, dyspepsia, neurasthenia, headache, and impotence. Pemberton ran the first advertisement for the beverage on May 29 of the same year in the Atlanta Journal. For the first eight months only nine drinks were sold each day.[citation needed]
By 1888, three versions of Coca-Cola — sold by three separate businesses — were on the market. Asa Griggs Candler acquired a stake in Pemberton's company in 1887 and incorporated it as the Coca Cola Company in 1888. The same year, while suffering from an ongoing addiction to morphine, Pemberton sold the rights a second time to four more businessmen: J.C. Mayfield, A.O. Murphey, C.O. Mullahy and E.H. Bloodworth. Meanwhile, Pemberton's alcoholic son Charley Pemberton began selling his own version of the product.
In an attempt to clarify the situation, John Pemberton declared that the name Coca-Cola belonged to Charley, but the other two manufacturers could continue to use the formula. So, in the summer of 1888, Candler sold his beverage under the names Yum Yum and Koke. After both failed to catch on, Candler set out to establish a legal claim to Coca-Cola in late 1888, in order to force his two competitors out of the business. Candler purchased exclusive rights to the formula from John Pemberton, Margaret Dozier and Woolfolk Walker. However, in 1914, Dozier came forward to claim her signature on the bill of sale had been forged, and subsequent analysis has indicated John Pemberton's signature was most likely a forgery as well.
In 1892, Candler incorporated a second company, The Coca-Cola Company (the current corporation), and in 1910, Candler had the earliest records of the company burned, further obscuring its legal origins. Regardless, Candler began marketing the product, although the efficacy of his concerted advertising campaign would not be realized until much later. By the time of its 50th anniversary, the drink had reached the status of a national icon for the USA. In 1935, it was certified kosher by Rabbi Tobias Geffen, after the company made minor changes in the sourcing of some ingredients.
Coca-Cola was sold in bottles for the first time on March 12, 1894. Cans of Coke first appeared in 1955. The first bottling of Coca-Cola occurred in Vicksburg, Mississippi, at the Biedenharn Candy Company in 1891. Its proprietor was Joseph A. Biedenharn. The original bottles were Biedenharn bottles, very different from the much later hobble-skirt design that is now so familiar. Asa Candler was tentative about bottling the drink, but the two entrepreneurs who proposed the idea were so persuasive that Candler signed a contract giving them control of the procedure. However, the loosely termed contract proved to be problematic for the company for decades to come. Legal matters were not helped by the decision of the bottlers to subcontract to other companies—in effect, becoming parent bottlers.
