The Transformers is a line of toys produced by the toy companies Takara and Hasbro. Initially reusing previously-released toys from the Japanese toylines Diaclone and Microman , Hasbro issued the toys under the name Transformers in the United States in 1984. The premise behind the Transformers toyline is that an individual toy's parts can be shifted about to change it from a vehicle, a device, or an animal, to a robot action figure and back again. The taglines "More Than Meets The Eye" and "Robots In Disguise" reflect this ability.

I bought this tuner to convert voltage for my mother's healthy treatment. It works fine with a power up to 70w. No observable heat was generated after 1-2 hours using. Good equipment and good price!

We bought this transformer to power a 220v Christmas light set (window display) we purchased in Germany. It worked great. It had no hum, nor did we have any interference issues with computers, tvs, etc.

I bought this transformer about a year ago for my German sewing machine (230 V, 85 W, 50 Hz) to run it in the US (110 V, 60 Hz). So far it works like a charm. I've used it for quite a few sewing projects over the past year and was worried whether the 60 Hz/50 Hz difference would be an issue, but everything seems to be running just fine. Investing twenty bucks in a transformer allowed me to keep using my familiar sewing machine instead of buying and learning how to use a new one, so it was well worth it.

It's a one for one replacement of my original Malibu light timer/transformer which lasted about 7 years. Easy to install - does what it's supposed to. Got it quickly. Went to Home Depot after I bought this and found the transformer timers are now programmable - digital clock-driven. Had I known, would have gotten digital model. Wasn't happy to have to buy entire new unit to replace a simple clock drive (Malibu doesn't sell the timer drive separately even though it's trivial to replace it.)

The Malibu Intermatic Timer is the best for landscape lighting. I added more 11v landscape lights to my outside lights, so I needed a 300 watt transformer. It is easy to install...screw the two wires on the back and plug it in. It does make a little noise but it turns the lights on/off automatically.

This an awesome item. The price is very reasonable and I would buy from this seller anytime. Good transactions and great product.

nice! handles more than enough lights. Is working excellent and looks handsom too.

This power pack works fine for the month I've used it intermittently. No surprise with it's basic functions. There are several annoyances that make it unworthy of a higher score. The labels stuck to the cover (inside) keep peeling off and it's not subject to any temperatures extremes, just 50s and 60s here in Arizona. The cover isn't hinged to stay upright and thetimer dial is cheap, as others have noted. The unit buzzes fairly loudly at times because of something with the internals that wants to vibrate. It changes volume from moment to moment.

My son is really into Transformers. We have the knockdown textured walls so we thought these wouldn't work. We gave them a try and because they are larger stickers, they seem to be able to hang on to the wall pretty well. I did make sure to press them on well and then go over them a few times with pressure to really get them to stick. They've been up almost two months and have not peeled off at all. They look pretty cool and my son loves them!

my 10 years old son love the sticker, look nice, easy to stick on wall and his room look great!

My son loved these decals. We put them up with the border and some posters (and soon to be bumblebee and optimus murals that I could not find local). He is four and had no trouble applying many of them himself. They are all sticking nicely a month later with no pulling corners like I had with some Winnie the Pooh decals a few years back. We replaced his Disney Cars theme with this one. The walls were painted 30 months ago and everything is sticking fine.

I like the transformers stickers. My son had fun putting them on his wall. I just wish they were a ittle bigger.

I really love this product. We bought this instead of transformers wall paper border, which cost 4 times as much. We were able to place them strategically around the top of the room to create our own border for a fraction of the cost. Plus, when it's time to redecorate, we can move them, or just remove them all together. They are super easy to move around. At this price, I would recommend this to anyone!

It's no secret that Lou Reed was pining for commercial success and recognition long before this album was released. After the failure of the first two Velvet Underground albums to make an impact on a commercially and monetarily rewarding level, Reed softened his touch with the self titled third album. This meant that much of what was important about the Velvet Underground was thrown out, but there was still solid songwriting. Louis was still writing quality songs that he would have probably written anyway, they were just arranged and performed in a more user friendly way due to the absence of John Cale and Reed's desire for commercial success. He had not yet pandered to popular taste in a blatant effort to have a hit single and album and was at this time still only willing to meet the mainstream halfway. By the final VU album, Loaded, he had dropped this proviso and was now fully prepared to write commercial music to appeal radio stations and the average rock fan circa 1970. This is why Loaded is easily the weakest of the VU albums. What was unfortunate was that even Louis was fully prepared to sell out on the audience, the radio station, and the record label's terms, the first two still weren't buying. That changed in 1972 when Louis was taken under the boney wing of David Bowie, in the prime of his rock stardom at the time. Louis finally had the right connection, the right contact, and maybe most importantly, a scene to pander to, to bow, to sell out to. Unlike Frank, he didn't do it his way. Bands such as the Kinks for example, who after having already tasted success and understanding the formula by which to maintain it, nonethless turned their backs on it in pursuit of more serious, intelligent songwriting and as a result made the best albums of their career (though certainly far from the most comercially successful). Radiohead achieved success on their own terms. They made the music they wanted to make and it happened that people really responded to it. Unlike these bands, Louis created music to fit with a ready made audience, the short lived Glam rock fad of the early 1970's spearheaded by Bowie. Without Bowie's patronage, I doubt very seriously that this album would have had the same impact. Many reviews at the time mentioned Bowie and Ronson as much if not more than Lou Reed. This of course has to do with Bowie's celebrity, always much greater than Reed's, but also for the more legitimate reason that Ronson's touch is all over this record. Lou's bisexuality has been well documented, although he has at times lied about this, preferring to pretend his homosexual relationships never existed which actually makes him seem even more of a contrived, fradulent hack on this particular album. I have nothing against homosexuals, but this album has gay themes running throughout it that are both tiresome and seem insincere. The gay image, Lou in make up, Lou with black nail polish, Lou singing about make up, were all designed to cater to Bowie's glam rock audience. Aside from that, excessive themes of gayness are just boring. Imagine making an album in which you referred to various aspects of your skin color throughout. It's equally daft and tedious. The songs themselves are mostly weak and uninpisring. The vocals are perhaps the worst in Reed's career and that's really saying something. He seems to be going out of his way to sound camp on most of these tracks, which becomes annoying and embarrassing. Of course the hit, Lou's only one, "Walk on The Wild Side" is a fan favorite. In the catalogue of his work, it is not only not the best of his songs, it's actually not even good. It's poor. It's a second rate version of what Reed did much more effectively with the Velvets, observationalist songwriting. The same formula is here, but unlike songs with the Velvets or "Chelsea Girls" from Nico's first album, "Wild Side" is musically weak and obviously trying to hard to paint an explicit picture of the gay, junkie, drag queen scene Reed ecountered in his Warhol days. It is simply second rate compared to an observationalist song such as "Chelsea Girls" or the Velvet Underground's "Run Run Run", reinforcing my personal view that by the age of 30 Reed has already become a parody of himself. And not even a good one. "Make Up" is probably the most embarrassing song on here. The most blatant effort to appeal to the audience Bowie has procurred for him. "Hangin' Round" is almost as embarrassing. It's lyrically inane, but add the peculiar irony that Lou in his supposed wisdom and maturity is looking down his nose at the people doing the things he put down years ago. Given his speed addiction at the time (documented in Victor Bockris' Transformer biography) and penchant for simulating shooting up on stage, this track becomes laughable. "Andy's Chest" and "Satellite of Love" are recycled songs from the Velvet era that that band had never released. This is something Reed did throughout the 70's and these like most, are superior in their original Velvet form. Seek those early versions out. "Vicious" blithely bounces around until it wears itself out, ultimately going nowhere. This is probably the best example of Reed trying to sound camp and looking instead like an a$$ clown of the highest order. "Perfect Day" is the one highlight on here. I would advise fans to skip this album and instead pick up a compilation that will treat you to this and "Satellite Of Love" although unfortunately "Wild Side" will probably come included in the package. In the aftermath of this release, Reed attempted to undo the damage this album had done to his credibilty by releasing the masterful "Berlin". This album though not on the level of the Velvet's musically, was his finest creation in terms of lyrics at the time (maybe still is). It was a rare occasion when the "story" form of a concept album succeeded. But not comercially. Now that Reed had a ready made audience (compliments of Bowie) he perhaps he felt he could turn them on to the music he really beleived in, the music he really wanted to make. He was wrong. "Berlin" was largely condemned by both fans and critics alike and what followed, "Sally Can't Dance", an album that restored Reed to commercial prominence again causing him to quip (and I paraphrase) "This is great. The worse I am, the more it sells. Maybe if I'm not on the next one at all, it will reach number one". This was the sad state of Reed's commercial success. He still has acolytes due to "Transformer", who I'm willing to wager either don't know or can't stand his serious albums and he is forever obliged to play songs like "Wild Side" to expectant audiences. He built his house of fortune with straw and it was no surprise at all when it went up in flames.

Released in December 1972 and produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson, the sophomore solo effort by Lou Reed delivered an incredible array of material, several quickly becoming signature themes to what was an already legendary career. Each of the 11 songs (clocking 36:40) of mostly new material - some had been demos for the Velvet Underground - is Reed as an expert storyteller, with the urban street being the scene after the 9-to-5 masses are home in the suburbs. The singles were Walk on the Wild Side (#16 on the 1973 Billboard Pop Singles chart) and Satellite of Love - with Vicious, Perfect Day, Hangin' Round and I'm So Free showing Reed's ever-changing moods. The band consisted of Ronson (g), Herbie Flowers (b), John Halsey (d) and Ronnie Ross (sax), with Bowie and several others on backing vocals. The album peaked at #29 on the Billboard 200 chart. This edition includes demo tracks for Hangin' Round and Perfect Day, with a hidden promo for the album. There are some highly-frustrating aspects to Reed's career, but the only drama here concerns the gamut of emotions he conveyed through the brilliant lyrics.

Transformer is just fantastic from beginning to end. Compared to other glam rock albums such as Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and Electric Warrior, I feel Transformer is slightly better than those (particulaly because T-Rex and David Bowie have better albums than the two mentioned above, but the same can't be said for Lou Reed, though one can argue Berlin comes close). Glam rock can be an absolute delight to listen to when done right, and Transformer is just highly enjoyable songwriting the entire way. Just great, that's all I can really say about it. Buy it now. I can't really pick a favorite song, but "Andy's Chest" and "Vicious" jump out to me immediately as being highlights.

Okay..."Walk on the Wild Side" is a great song, even if it's a crime that it's so much better known than any other Lou Reed song. "Satellite of Love" is also great, and the deceptively happy "Perfect Day" is of his all-time greats, featuring the legendary line "you made me forget myself/I thought I was someone else/someone good." "I'm So Free" and "Vicious" are also great. Most of the other songs, though, while deserving credit historically for being so openly "gay" really aren't so great. For that reason, while I dig this one out often, I rarely listen to the whole thing. [...]

Cameron Crowe meets Lester Bangs and, natch, they discuss, what else, Lou Reed. "Goodnight Ladies" (only 2nd, maybe, to Yoko's "We're All Water" as a 'song of the decade' {70's}) invented Tom Waits in a NY minute, so there. Transdressers, alcoholics, cokewhores, jus' good folks. Sandy my bestest friend, ever. But, also, it's May 12th, so I remember my 1st marriage, 29 years ago, too bad my husband died in a highway fireball 5 years ago. What else? Well. Lou Reed was my Carpenters' B-side back in the day, as they say. No old ladies, ladies never age, just ask Blanche DuBois. Ah anyway, my TV dinner's almost done. Meanwhile, I'm almost 10 at the time (1970) and I'm at the St. Louis Crestwood Mall with my parents. There's a shop, called "Size 6." What's 'size 6,' I ask. My father says "it's the cute, young girl size for dresses." And I think, "Wow, that's great. That's what I want." Oops, but neverless. So, you see, size 6 (my size, babe) has always been in my heart, a very magical number. That's why I diet so fearlessly. Ah anyway, my TV dinner's almost done. I remembered that number for decades, it took decades to get it. I earned it. May 12th. So sorry, Carrie, you demised. That haunted honeymoon house, some abandoned farmhouse out in the woods where we all got high, made for a brilliant metaphor, cobwebs and rusted tins, pure funk, a classic Stones cut between hits, hitchhiking foolishly, fearlessly, we did "it" outside the HoJo's NY before the cops came and shooed us away, bad coffee and skanky pancakes. And turning tricks. Of course, every time I begged for it, I really wanted to be the girl doing it. Transformer, that. I bet you knew all along.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen-The Album Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen-The Album

Reviews

I really love this soundtrack. The CD is amazing, the songs are awesome because they come from great artists. My favourite songs are: LINKIN' PARK New divide; GREEN DAY 21 guns; CAVO Let it go; TAKING BACK SUNDAY Capital m-e; NICKELBACK Burn it to the ground; THE USED Burning down the house; THEORY OF A DEADMAN Not meant to be; THE ALL AMERICAN REJECTS Real world: HOOBASTANK I don't think I love you; STAINO This is it. The movie "Revenge of the fallen" is ok, but the first one, "Transformers the movie" is much better.

Let me say upfront that the SCORE CD to this album is brilliant. Jablonsky did a lovely job on the film... Ok, that out of the way... this album kind of blows. Only two or three songs are any good (namely, New Divide and Never Say Never.) The rest of the soundtrack is a sort of unbalanced attempt at something that never really comes to life. I'd highly recommend the score, but never this compilation.

The first Transformers Album only had one song on it I liked, 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park. At first I thought that the Linkin Park song on this album was the same as the first Transformers album. They do sound similar. Link Park's 'New Divide' and Green Day's '21 Guns' are the only two songs on this album that are worth listening to, for me. Kind of disappointing. Thank heavens for the 'score' soundtrack. But thank you LP and GD for two new great songs to add to my collection of music.

My wife wanted this soundtrack for Christmas. Only for the new Linkin Park track!

Everything about this was great! The cd was in great shape! The shipping took the usual time! Thank you!!!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - The Score Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - The Score

Reviews

I am not one to ramble on a review, so here it is. . . This score was great. Jablonsky does a wonderful job of making a score that uses the themes of the first movie and making the songs still new and fresh. The score has several songs that I enjoyed completely: "Prime", "Matrix of Leadership", "I Rise You Fall", and "Infinite White." This score is more emotional than the first and these songs in particular show it. Jablonsky has made a score that uses the themes from before, and brought them to a whole new level. This score is definitely one that I think should be recognized as a great score, therefore, I give it five stars for continuing the Transformer legacy from the first film, while making the score more powerful emotionally, and giving it great music for the battle sequences. The variety in the styles of the songs alone should be enough to attract anyone to this fantastic score.

This score is a solid piece of work that appears to take elements from various artists such as Zimmer, Rabin, and Gregson-Williams. There is a great deal of similarity to scores of "Gladiator", "Armageddon", "The Rock", "Crimson Tide", "Enemy of the State", and "Spy Game". If you enjoy any of these scores at all, you will enjoy this score despite the less-than-stellar film.

Every piece of the score had skips, not one went all the way thru without a skip somewhere in it ... most multiple times.

No over critical, super analyzed review of this soundtrack here. With me, if I go to a movie and like the music, I buy the soundtrack. And that's what I did with the score to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. With scores like 'Forest Battle' 'I Rise, You Fall' and 'Prime', it's worth it. Just like the first Transformers film score, Revenge of the Fallen is worth having in music collection. The Transformer theme is now down in my most favorite themes of all time, as it should be. It's great music from awesome films!

The first movie's soundtrack was amazing, I loved just about every minute of it. The same applies to RotF's, except...in many places it fell short of epic and into the world of mediocre sci-fi nonsense music that sounds more like typical ambiance to fill in the cracks. The new themes I enjoyed, but I can't find a reason to really buy this album for everything that it's worth. Like the movie, it's missing something, a something I can't really put my finger on; but it in no way feels complete.

THEY REVIVED OPTIMUS PRIME!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! WHEN MY POPS SAW THE TRANSFORMERS MOVIE HE CRIED AND NEVER WATCHED THE REST OF THE SHOW BUT HE DID MISS THESE EPS OF THE RETURN OF OPTIMUS PRIME BUT KNOW THAT HE KNEW AFTER 20 YRS HE'S HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST FEEL BAD THEY CHANGED BUMBLEBEE......BUT ALL IZ WELL DA BEST AUTOBOT IZ BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the reason optimus is all together is because thats the dead optimus from the movie. you can recognize the room it's the same design as the one he died in in the movie

I remember watching this episode origanally on TV when the episode Dark Awakening was the prequel to this series. In the end of Dark Awakening Optimus Prime orders the Autobot army to return to Cybertron, and heads towards a supernova to destroy the Quintisons. The Quintisons pretty much oblitrate Primes space craft, and as you can see Optimus Prime nearly is blown away to pieces(missing half his face and missing an arm, etc..). Now, in the Return of Optimus Prime when the two human space explorers/scientists find Optimus Prime, they find him completly restored as if the battle with the Quintisons never happend. Could anyone find explanation for this?

For starters, I just want to say that I'm not entirely a part of the group that used to watch the original Transformers episodes when they were first being released. In other words, I was five months old when this very episode came out. I'm sixteen now, and having seen the more tail-end of the Transformers craze (also, with my elder brother Jeffrey as my mentor in all things Autobot and Decepticon), my brother and I got many of the DVDs of the first two seasons. Also, when I was eight or nine, on two seperate occasions we found the Transformers movie (unedited, I think), as well as this video. After watching through the first two seasons of Transformers, I finally brought myself to watching the movie. Though it is undeniably a well-written movie, I felt sick during the first ten minutes; Optimus' death went actually fairly well (I used to cry when I watched that part as a kid), but it really bothered me when my favorite character Ironhide died, as well as some of the other oldies (i.e., Wheeljack, Ratchet, Windcharger..). After watching the movie, I watched this again. It can't be denied that the two writers - Cherie Wilkerson and Marv Wolfman - who worked on this did try. I mostly put those that actually came up with the idea of killing off all of the old characters in the movie to fault (I'm sorry, but writer Buzz Dixon's interview on the DVD *really* bugged me.. "Hyuck, hyuck, let's go kill Optimus Prime!").Despite animation glitches, plot deficiencies (which are many), and all of that, there is really one question to ask - what is Optimus Prime ultimately "returning" to? A bunch of Autobots that know him about as well as we know Uncle Sam. And the ones that *do* know him back from the "old days" pretty much just give him a pat on the shoulder and say, "Great to have you back!" I, as a viewer, don't really buy that.Though it's probably very close to the truth that the series went downhill because Optimus died, I think also that it lost its sincerity. While I'm watching seasons 1 and 2, no one has to make me buy the fact that the characters are friends - they show me. For example, "Traitor" is a wonderful episode in which Cliffjumper injustly accuses Mirage, and they friendship shines through in the end; the same also goes for the episode that Perceptor and Brawn go into Megatron's body to retrieve the Heart of Cybertron.I think my biggest regret in the series is that they kicked off Ironhide. Ironhide, to me, was the best example of true friendship on the show; he just wasn't Optimus' companion and fellow soldier, he was his friend. Such simple truths became lost to the show by the end of the second season, and from that point forward. But don't worry Prime, I missed you too.

Looking at this show with adult eyes, i see hideous animation i used to think was cool when i was a kid. Nonetheless, this was a nice trip back to yesteryear and to the return of the greatest autobot leader of all ( yeah, you heard me, rodimus ).

I was bored as hell this morning, having finished watching four or five episodes of Armada. I changed the channel, hoping something good was on, and discovered this [...]. It started out with Megatron, looking really, really UGLY, rather than cool. I had never seen this show before, but turned it on becasue it was a Transformers show. At times, I don't know if it's anime or CGI. I have to say that the anime was infinitely better. It's a load of [...]. I ony gave it one star because that was the lowest rating. Don't waste your time on this. Go watch something else. [...] Don't EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER watch Energon. I think my point is made.

Transformers Energon:The Return of Megatron is a great DVD! This DVD set contains the episodes that re-introduces Megatron into the Transformers Energon series as Energon Megatron! This episodes in this set are Megatron's Ressurection, Megatron's Raid, StarScream the Mysterious Mercenary, and the Battle on the Astriod Belt. These Transformers episodes are really good because they combine both CGI and Japanese Anime for a Transformers cartoon. I like the Japanese animation in this series a-lot. Megatron and Starscream return form the previous series, Transformers: Armada. They are both as villianous as they ever were! I highly Recommend this Transformers Energon DVD! A+

Megatron is revived in this set of episodes and easily takes over scorponok's leadership position and once again leads the decepticons whom all leave the autobots. StarScream is also revived, although not completely. More great Transformers Energon episodes. I love em.

Thursday night, I did not sleep at all. Fed up with what I was hearing on the radio, I noticed it was getting sunny out, so got up and went outside. I poured some cereal, listened to some birds, came back in, then turned on the TV set. I think it was nearly 6:00AM when this all happened, so I was not prepared at all for what I was about to see. A show came on called Transformers: Energon. And quite literally in the first five seconds of the show, there was a robot who came on, and shot LASER BEAMS OUT OF EVERY PART OF HIS BODY. I knew I was in for a treat. First of all, let me get this out of the way: THIS IS THE MOST EXTREME MOTHERFREAKING SHOW ON TELEVISION. Every line of dialogue in this show is SCREAMED, and ALWAYS LOUDER THAN THE LAST. The show is so intense that in the middle of one robot's line, he DOES A BACKFLIP, JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT. All the robots are CGI, meaning the animators can pull off fancy tricks such as even when walking slowly, the robots still move at 1000MPH. There are scenes where there are literally HUNDREDS OF LASERBALLS onscreen per second. For added excitement, they seem to have increased every scene's rate of speed to the speed just before your eye can't perceive any movement. In this episode, Destructive Power, one character spends the entire episode growing larger, and the entire episode, he is covered with SMALL EXPLOSIONS. The show is also full of great dialogue, such as this: "Trust your instincts, Optimus, and count on me to back you up." "I appreciate that." and this: "How should we cut off the Super Energon?" "I guess we should cut right through it." "Are you sure?" "We don't have any other choice!" Also, the attacks have great names, such as (and these are quoted from Episode 50:) BATTLESTORM LASERATTACK and NARROW LIGHTBEAM CANNON ATTACK. Coming back from the commercial to this show is like coming out of a COMA at a DINOSAUR RAVE IN SPACE, it's THAT FREAKING INTENSE. When characters have disagreements in philosophies, they solve it with PUNCH FIGHTS, just like real life. Whenever the camera spins around two characters, the background pans TEN TIMES AS FAST, FOR EXTRA INTENSITY. I give this show an infinity out of everything, just because it is the most intense thing created thus far by man. Your life sucks if you haven't seen this. FINAL SCORE: ∞/EVERYTHING

I stated in the early episodes that this series has the potential for greatness and this is what I was talking about. This dvd starts off with another failed attack by Scorponac (who has since recruited Cyclonus and Tidlewave to his side) to steal more Energon from the Transformers. The end result is that upon their return they witness the Unexpected revival of none other than Megatron, the Autobots most feared foe. After Megatron swiftly crushes Scorponac he returns to earth to get Energon. Upon his arrival the Autobots are defeated as Megatron defeats Hotshot and forces them to retreat. However Alpha Q is not pleased with these turn of events and ressurects another villian from the past, Starscream (who because of being dead for a while suffers from memory loss). As a result Starscream can go completly undetected by any one except Alpha Q and Kicker. It's in this series of Epsiodes that the villians show their true might as there is an awesome sword fight Between Prime and Megatron, as well as a duel between Prime and Starscream. These episodes are action packed and just fun to watch. However there are complaints as well. It bugs me that all the characters are in Anime style yet Alpha Q (who is not that great of a villian) is CGI and pretty cruddy (although I have seen much worse). Also the final episode on the Disk is only a So-So and really should of been saved for the Next DVD Installment (as I recall Episode 5 was removed for some reason). However there are many positives as well. Starscream and Megatron are both great villians who both beat the tar out of Prime. Kicker is starting to evolve into his own character (Despite being equally as annoying at times as Spike and Sparkplug of Gen 1) and is not just an excuse to have a human around. Also in other unexpected Character development is the dillema with Demolisher who is a decepticon who has grown fond of his life of peace (despite Guard Duty half the time) yet when the time comes for Megatron to require his services he is quite hesitant. This would be second tier character is getting some unexpected development not really seen in Transformers (yes there were characters who switched sides but they were generally major characters). This move in my opinion shows that the creaters care about all their characters to even consider this type of screen time. Overall this is great set of episodes that exposes the raw potential that I see in this series. With a some fine tuning and carefully working at how they do things I can see this series taking off and being rembered by this young Generation as being beloved much like we who grew up with Generation One love it today. However in case you jaded Gen 1 fans think this is just a load of garbage remember this, I too am a huge Gen 1 fan and I do think that it is the best. However these are not the Transformers (the huge story driven marketing scheme that it was)that we grew up with. These are new Transformers for a New Generation. By you old foggies slaughtering it you may forever destroy the legacy of Transformers when it goes off the air for the final time, and then what... the only thing left will be distant memories of a time when a young child could watch the Robots in Disguise with awe.

Remember when we were kids and this was new and it was the coolest thing to hit the big screen and it was so awesome and you could just watch it over and over again for days? Me neither. I don't know whether I'm older and more sophisticated, or if CGI has jaded me on eight-cell animation, or if I was blinded by the awesomeness of the Transformers when I was a kid, but this is difficult to watch now. The animation, done at eight cells per second to cut costs, is herky-jerky and inconsistent. The problems with the visuals are amplified by the problems with the sound, which is flat and full of metallic screeches. The story proceeds hastily and with little explanation of its deviations from the TV series, as characters who have taken a massive pounding for years suddenly can't handle one sock in the gut. It's interesting how many stars contributed voice work to this movie. Casey Kasem, Eric Idle, and Judd Nelson must be proud of their contributions. Leonard Nimoy and Robert Stack, both semi-retired at this point, contribute significant characters, and this was the last work for both Scatman Crothers and Orson Welles, the latter of whom reputedly expressed shame to realize this would be his swan song. There may be a great deal of nostalgia value to this movie for people who, like me, grew up on the Transformers. But I can't bring myself to watch it more than once. The Transformers may have been a pocket full of awesome when I was a kid, but I'm not a kid anymore, and neither are you. Rest easy on your memories of happier times, don't try to relive them by watching this unwatchable pelf.

We were so happy to receive this DVD, it was in great condition and playback was awesome. Thank you for taking us back almost a quarter century!-)

This is a Christmas gift for our grandson. We were pleased with the shipping time and assume it will be a good buy as all our other Amazon buys have been.

A theatrical version of the cartoon which changed everything. The death of Optimus Pre really sent the cartoon downward for the reminder that it was on. Still a great cartoon movie.

Recently, my 12 & 11 yr old sons wanted to go see Transformers 2. But, they insisted I see T1 first. So we rented it then went to the theatre. After viewing both T1 & T2 I remembered their was an ORIGINAL Transformers. They (and all their friends) watched the ORIGINAL twice a day for 2 weeks. Amazing!!!

During the 1980s, one cartoon series ruled the airwaves... TheTransformers. This paragon of consumerism was created with a dual purpose--to entertain and to galvanize children to buy the toys. Somewhere along the line, the show became a cult favorite, so in 1986 they fashioned an epic tale of good versus evil specifically for the big screen...

have used a couple of months now. seems pretty good. I've had a few power outages, it seems protect my new plasma TV, home theater.

Hooked up all my Home Theater equipment and cable to the protector. I won't know how well it works until there's a lightning storm. The unit looks and feel of good quality. So far, So good.

I'm using this for my home theater and computer. It has all the connections I need and I love the 10' cord.

I reviewed a number or surge protectors for my home AV and computers. Ordered two of these. I am happy with the quality - they seem well constructed. The number of outlets and ports is very good for a PC or stereo system. I would recommend these for purchase.

This surge protector has enough outlets for all my home theater gadgets i.e. 58' plasma, DVR, Blu-Ray, AV receiver, VCR( yes, I'm keeping it, just in case) and a powered sub. I still have 2 extra outlets to spare. It's built solid yet so compact it fits nicely behind my TV stand. You can buy more powerful surge protector or power management systems, but I think it's overkill. $250,000 lifetime insurance protection is more than plenty for my peace of mind.

Allows me to charge my Kindle from the wall outlet without overheating or causing damage to the Kindle. Product is satisfying; P&P to expensive.

While in Europe (but not in Russia) this is all you need for any one device to the extent that it is rated for universal voltage of 100-240V AC. _______________________________ WARNING!!! - It is NOT a voltage converter. If your device is not rated for 240V chances are it WILL be destroyed so be careful. - It is NOT a surge suppressor. _______________________________ Most existing laptops and other electronics are this way these days but some older devices may come with a 110/240V switch so make sure that you check before you plug your device into the foreign outlet, especially if you do it into the outlet of 'higher' voltage as it happens to be the case in Europe. On this adapter's features: - Works as a plug converter on both sides. - Supports both 2-prong and 3-prong US plugs. - Do not expect any frills such as surge protection. After all, it's a cheap, simple adapter that does one thing well and nothing else. - It's small enough to have a permanent home inside my 'traveling' laptop case.

The grounded adapter USA to Europe Heavy duty adapter I found to be just what I needed when I travel to Germany.

I received this item during my stay in USA and when I came home (Europe) and tried it on, was not working at all, it was even making a wird noise and my brother who is working as electrician told me after closer look at item that I could be in hospital...

My husband and I used this adapter in England and Ireland. It worked great! Don't leave the country without an adapter!!

Now most of you know the sequels to movies are not as good as the first one with a few exceptions, IE Home Alone and Home Alone 2. This one isn't as good as the first one which was expected, but it does have some good fighting scenes for sure. I think maybe too much fighting scenes and the first one didn't have enough fighting scenes. Either way it is a good movie with a surprise at every other corner. I would say rent it first and if you like it buy it.

So i grew up on transformers and of course im going to love the movie... but regardless of that.. this movie has amazing graphics, storyline is awesome.. and you can trust me.. you will have moments of outright laughter.. I bought it and have watched it on more than one occasion... very enjoyable.. and this is safe for the majority of ages to watch in my opnion.

I have seen this movie before and had to buy it as a gift for a friend for the holiday's. Great price on Amazon!! Watched it a million times.

The fast action pace keeps you awake and interested. The storyline was not well thought out. I didn't like it as well as Transformers One, but still entertaining. Probably best suited for the younger crowd of video game players. The sound designers used too much rumbling bass throughout and that was a bit distracting with my 12" subwoofer. I would rather hear the strong bass reserved for the special moments.

This was the worst piece of Trash, Junk, Garbage I have ever seen! The blu-ray was a waste of time and money. There is absolutely no need to purchase the blu-Ray since the CG was so bad! If you enjoy a bunch of CG bits, parts and Pieces flying and spinning in the air and crashing into each other be my guest! Waste you money! Just remember I told you so! This is not even worth a bluray rental! The Story line was weak and stupid! I seriously can't believe that someone was paid to write this silly story. I have seen dumb cartoons that had a better story line. Seriously this blu-ray is not a show off disk.

while i gave the first movie perfect marks for sheer entertainment, this sequel is actually a more complete film,in my opinion,as much as this type of movie can be.for one,the story is actually much more interesting and more developed.the humour quotient is upped in this one as well.there are quite a few chuckles.some of the transformers are really neat, especially on the Decepticon side.the fight scenes between the Transformers are quite spectacular, though that isn't surprising.what is surprising is that the transformation scenes(when the vehicles change into their robot forms and vice versa were not seamless, and looked herky jerky to me.in the original film, this was not an issue.still,it's immensely entertaining.and despite a few minor issue.a better movie overall.as an aside, the movie is nominated for a Razzie Award for worst movie, which mystifies me.it's nowhere near Razzie calibre.oh,well.for me,Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a 5/5

Last night walking to my local Hollywood Video store (which is closing down) I found a fair amount of DVD's for only $5. Browsing around I found some interesting items and also I found Transformers 2. I never got a chance to see it at the movies, and me not being a big fan of the cartoons but a fan of its prequel I decided to purchase it since it was at that price. I already knew what many people and critics said about the film; when it hit the theaters I was disappointed to read all the negative appraisals from websites and people from work that viewed it. Still I decided to give it an opportunity. The movie first of all definitely encloses what an action summer blockbuster should have: loud explosions, great special effects, nonstop action, good battle sequences; but unfortunately Michael Bay thought that the juvenile act on some autobots and decepticons and even including Sam's parents would enhance the film: the pointless gags, the `ghetto' slangs from the twins, their bothersome voices, leg humping (which I cannot blame since it was on Megan Fox -what a beauty-), showing off their testicles, and so forth. But beyond all those ridiculous happenings I found a movie that entertained me which was its principle. In fact, the plot was more thought of than the original making you think that Michael Bay probably wanted to take the film to a different direction, but whoever thought of the entire lame jokes I stated literally killed what could have been a better movie. There is no essence to this movie that you should look forward to but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't see it. Don't expect to watch a movie that contains a mature atmosphere because after all, it's only Transformers.

The movie came within a week. I am very impressed, movie came in great condition and I will buy from here again.

I would have cut out about 1 hour of this nightmare of a movie. It was so obnoxious, unnecessary footage and horrible. The first one was one of my favorite movies. This sequel was done so fast and thrown together that it showed the low quality and low time put into it.

Hard to stand up to the first Transformers movie but this one does alright. This film has more coemdy in it that the first which nice, introduction into quite a few new transformers, some fit and others don't. Loved the original transformers in the film especially bumble bee and optimis prime. The shocking part of the movie wasn't that shocking because it went over it so quickly that the effect of what just happened didn't get the full trama that it should have which was a huge disappointment. The movie is still a good film to ad to your collection since it has everything in it from sadness, humor, action and drama. Can't wait to see what happens in the folow-up Transformers 3 that is starting production.

DVD came in perfect condition in a few days. Perfect for my son and his sleepover party ! Thank you.

Transformers was always my favorite cartoon growing up as a child. Whenever it was on I'd plop myself down in front of the TV screen and watched for hours on end. Now, being an adult and going to college I've always missed watching that show. But lucky enough for me, they made a movie of it. This movie was probably one of the most well thought out and most well made films I have seen in a long time (even the sequel was good which is such a shocker.) It made me want to see more ideas from the producer and writers, and it also made me change my ways of thinking that not all sequels are terrible. They are now shooting for Transformers 3 so I've heard, and I can't wait for it to come out. Transformers all the way. Autobots, roll out.

One of my very favorite movies. I loved it as soon as i saw it. i have no idea what those people who voted 1 or 2 stars are talking about. Just a great movie and even better on BluRay. Good effects, great sound, and just enough laughs to make it a comedy. There are days i can just stay home and watch this, and i'd have a successful night.

This is the greatest movie I have seen in recent years. I usually don't like to see movies more than once except for those that are very good. The very good movies, I'll watch them twice and that's it. However, the Transformers is so good I can watch it over and over again and never get tired. I have seen it at least 3 times before I bought it and I can't stop watching it. I have a pretty good sound system so I really enjoy the special sound effects at its maximum. If you are an action sci-fi type of person, then you are going to love this movie. I recomend the action lovers to buy this, you will not regret it. I just have to finish saying is an awesome movie, it will be hard to see another movie top this one (at least for me).

Director Michael Bay's movies have either been hit or miss. Armageddon and Pearl Harbor were basically powerhouses with uninspired plots. There are a few good films that he directed as well, such as The Rock and Bad Boys, for example. This is one of them, based on the popular long-running action figure line of the same name, Transformers. It has been around since the 1980's and spun off many anime series, and I saw some episodes of Armada as a pre-teen. I then heard about this live-action film adaptation to the series in 2007 and, believe it or not, I thought it was pretty good. It is nothing epic like Terminator 1 & 2, but still good cheesy fun. Acclaimed filmmaker Steven Spielberg also joined in as an executive producer as well. It involves the Autobots, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Jazz, and Ratchet teaming up with a teenage boy Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf), his girlfriend Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox), and Commander Robert Epps (Jon Voight), to stop the Decepticons, Megatron, Starscream, Frenzy, Barricade, Bonecrusher, and Blackout from claiming the Cube of the All Spark when Sam unknowingly buys Bumblebee as his first car. Simple, but enjoyable. They intend to use the All Spark Cube to restore their home planet Cybertron. When the Decepticons launch an attack at the Hoover Dam and the Autobots lure them into the city where many of the Decepticons were destroyed, especially Megatron when Sam shoves the Cube into his chest. They dump their corpses into the Laurentian Abyss, Sam and Mikaela form a relationship, and the Autobots spread a message to the rest of their kind in space that they made a new home on Earth. The only surviving Decepticon was Starscream leaving to inform The Fallen, setting the stage for the overtly stupid sequel, Revenge of the Fallen, that I will review later on. However, the original is a great movie. The visual effects and action are top notch. The acting is good as well, with a few corny lines every now and then. Peter Weller reprises the role of Optimus Prime, and even though he also voiced Ironhide in the original cartoons, Jess Harnell fills in and replicates it just fine. The sets also looked real. There are a couple minor issues however. The focus on the humans was a little overplayed in expense to the Autobots, but that would just be nit-picking. This is another movie worth picking up. I would recommend it to anyone, even die-hard Transformers fans.

Ok, so I decided to get in shape. I watched the infomercial and I said to myself, it doesnt look like something I couldnt do. I order it and what you know, one month later I have lost 14 pounds only with the dvds (without the diet). This is great, it comes with everything you need. The first few days its going to be hard, but one week in you are going to do them without stoping as much, also you will see results in weight loss as well in your body. Buy it, Barrys Bootcamp is the best gift I have made to myself, trust me if you do this you will see results FAST.

I bought this a while back and used it to get ready for a Company Party my husband had coming up.. I can't remember if I lost weight but I was definitely looking and feeling more toned.. You could see the lines and some definition in my arms and stomach area ( even with being a little overweight) It was super hard for me at first as I was and am now way out of shape..So when I first started the dvd's I could only make it a little way through but I stuck with it and found my self doing the whole thing.. YEAH ME.. I did find the lunge's a little much for my knee's and you do some other things that are a little much for me too but overall it was fun and worked well.. The songs and talking does get old after a while but I just mute it and put my music on and go to town.. I like the interval training so you get a little of everything and it keeps it fun.. Just wish I could stick with something but the only thing I have found in my life that I have stuck to is walking and dancing around the house.. I put my head phones on and dance some slow song's some fast and let me tell you it is great no equipment to buy... Just get down don't hold nothing back.. It is fun and I use every muscle in my body... Overall I would recommend this just make sure you have good knees to do all the lunging and jumping and make sure you have enough room too use the transformer ball and jump up and down with out knocking stuff down...The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the talking gets annoying (although after first it was really encouraging) and because the lunges and jumping was not for me..

I bought this product and used it everyday for a month. I didn't lose any weight but I felt myself toning up. However, some of the exercises are very cardio-intense and I have asthma and was not able to do some of the moves even after 30 days. My green band broke within a week of using it. The seller was unable to do anything for me, unless I wanted to return the whole product. It is a great workout but as other people mention it is only 21 minutes for the first week. After that it increases by 12 minutes every week after. I would recommend the product to people who dont plan on using it as a system. I think it is better suited for someone that just wants to maintain their weight or work out a few times a week.

Love this workout. Even good for a postnatal Mom. So inspiring. In the blue legs video there's a woman who had 6 or 7 kids and looks great! There are modifications for beginner or advanced. Cuing is perfect. Sure Barry is corny and annoying but it keeps it fun. It reminds you that you're gonna look great and men will notice when you do- keeps you on track. The 20 minute exercise is perfect because once you commit to that you're hooked and can do more. I find myself reaching for this DVD when I think I don't have the time or energy to work out and there I go burning another 300 calories in 40 minutes (after I add in the abs or other ad-ons). Two different level cords- everything is in the box. Perfect.

I really do. It includes two Fat Blaster routines, one for lower body and one for upper. You do one minute of cardio then one minute of toning for a total of 21 minutes. There are six add on sections: two abs, two lower body, and two upper body. These are strictly toning and the add-ons conveniently are included on both discs (no switching DVDs in the middle of a workout). The equipment that comes with the DVDs is good quality. Some have complained their Transformer did not achieve the proper size; I blew mine up, waited a few days to pump up some more and then had no problem getting it to the proper size. For most exercises I substitute heavier handweights for the power bands to make it more appropriate for my fitness level. At first I found Barry a little annoying, but I got over it and I could just do these DVDs over and over. I definitely recommend.

Have my LCD TV hooked up to it and it is a requirement here in Florida with the many power spikes we have and these are not from storms alone. A lot cheaper than having your equipmnet fried.

I purchased a new desktop computer to replace my old laptop. The external monitor and speakers required two additional outlets on my surge protector. My old surge protector had enough outlets, but two of the power cables had plugs that took up three spaces, each. In addition, I had my surge protector, router, cables and plugs all tucked into a small space in the back drawer of my desk. THIS SURGE PROTECTOR SOLVED MY PROBLEMS. I was able to plug ALL of my devices onto this surge protector, AND it fitted perfectly into the small space. I've had it for about a month and have encountered no problems. The 2350 Joules gives me peace of mind that my new computer will be protected. The price is pretty good, too!

works great but the retractable prongs are the weak point. I travel with it all the time and it has protected my lap at least twice from power surges. Just have to be careful when inserting the prongs into the wall socket.

The product doesn't have any voltage compatability ratings on the product itself or accompanying literature that I could find. On the web site, however, it shows the voltage compatability at 120 VAC. The product should therefore not be used overseas in countries where the voltage is 220 VAC.

We have been using these on our computers for a couple of years. We use them not only on laptops and are really pleased.

We bought this product to protect the second laptop in our household. It is compact, has a second outlet into which a second device can be plugged and protected. Because it is compact it plugs directly into a duplex wall outlet and still allows room to the other outlet to be used (unprotected). The lights indicate it is functioning. It fullfils all we expected and we highly recommend it, whether you travel or not. It will fit into a computer travel bag easily.

I bought this little surge protector to use when I travel because I have had a video screen and a mother board burn up due to voltage spikes. Especially abroad where all power comes in 240V form. Although all battery chargers are dual 240-120V, at 240V power spikes can be a lot more lethal than at 120V. Now I use a 240-120V converter AND this supressor. The fact that it also has a double plug is great because it keeps you from having to carry an additonal bulky power strip.

The voltage transformer is heavy, sturdy and reliable. I am in Switzerland now, and I bought these for barrage of devices brought from the U.S; I plugged in a humidifier, a blender, Vonage phone, laptop, shaver (all at once), and so far no issues whatsoever. The only catch is the wall converter from US to Euro (so that you can plug the thing into the wall jack) - It is too wide for Switzerland (would work in e.g. Germany). So I had to spend a couple of euros for a converter in a local store. Other than that, no issues in the first 45 days....

Got this converter to run my 220v AV receiver & powered sub here in 110v USA. Well it seems to work fine for now so we'll see down the track. One thing I didn't realise was that there is 1 x 110v output and 1 x 220v output on the front so for my two 220v appliances I have to use a double adaptor, not a big deal but I assumed the outputs would have been the same, either both 110v or both 220v.

I've bought this voltage converter with the KitchenAid KP26M1XER stand mixer which actually reqires 600 Watt for operating, since I'm living in Europe, I'm using this converter while using the stand mixer and it did the job so far... Works perfect when used for one machine at a time...

While this volt converter seems to work just fine when plugging in only one device into it at a time, having lived overseas now for years, I have grown accustomed to buying one, high voltage converter and plugging a 110v surge protector into it for use with an array of lower voltage devices or appliances. However, when you plug a surge protector into this converter, with nothing plugged into it at all, it blows the main circuit to the house every time. I have tested it with numerous differnt surge protectors and in several differnt houses and everytime, its the same thing. So, if, like me, you are looking for something you can use for plugging in multiple items at the same time, this item is not for you.

I purchased this item for my 6 year old son. It was too heavy at first but still complains of neck pain; but absolutely loves this toy! My 3 year old son enjoys it as well but I would not recommend it for young children. Also very noisey!!

I bought 3 of these, all three started coming apart after an hour of use, plastic was breaking allover! Although the plastic broke on all 3, all three kids LOVED them and continued to play with them. The functionality never broke, just the outside.

Bought this for my godson and he loved it. The size is large enough that I was even able to put it on myself. The only knock that I have on the product is that it my godson had to tilt the head to put the mouthpiece closer to his mouth in order to make the voice distorter work. Think they should have made the helmet smaller for the core target group instead of making it bg enough for adults to wear.

My son loves this toy. he is 7 and his cousin who is 5 also loves it. My son also have the Prime one as well and I would buy any voice changer helm for him :)

My best friend's son LOVES Transformers, and Bumblebee is his favorite. I couldn't wait for Christmas to come so I could give this to him. I even got the Optimus Prime helmet for his sister so they could play together. I have to say, this toy is very disappointing. When you talk while wearing the helmet, the same song plays as you speak and it doesn't play every time or for the entire time you are talking. You can also clearly hear the voice of the person wearing the helmet, as nothing changes your voice, the song just plays while you talk. I understand that Bumblebee talks through the radio, but come on. At least have more than one song that plays, and make it so the person's voice changes to sound "robotic". The Optimus Prime helmet is great! When wearing it, your voice really does sound like Optimus. My friend's daughter wound up getting the better helmet and she's not even the big Transformers fan. :(

The Transformers toyline is typically divided into two main factions: the heroic Autobots and their opponents, the evil Decepticons (known in Japan as the Cybertrons and Destrons, respectively). Transformers toys are sold at a number of price points, and various Transformers series utilize unique play features.

There have also been a number of spin-offs based on the toys including a Marvel comic book series, an animated television series program presented by Claster Television, a television production company that Hasbro organized for this and similar purposes, that began transmissions in 1984 (Transformers series) and a feature-length movie, The Transformers: The Movie. The original series program was followed by a number of spin-offs with varying levels of popularity. A live-action remake, directed by Michael Bay under the sponsorship of Steven Spielberg, premiered on June 12, 2007 and opened in the United States on July 2, 2007.

The Transformers toyline was developed by Hasbro after they met up with Takara representatives at the 1983 Toy Fair trade show in New York and proposed to combine and re-brand Takara's Diaclone and Micro Change toylines into the Transformers for release in the United States. Thus began a long and successful collaboration between Takara and Hasbro on toy development for the Transformers line, a collaboration which has grown increasingly close. Currently, Hasbro does the vast majority of the concept work and character creation, while Takara continues to control the actual manufacture of the toys. Hasbro markets and sells the toys internationally, while Takara sells them in the Japanese market. The design director for the Transformers brand, as of the first week of July of 2007, was Aaron Archer.

The basic back-story of the toyline and subsequent comic books and cartoons was developed by the Marvel Comics writers Jim Shooter and Dennis O'Neil; it was O'Neil who actually changed Convoy's name to Optimus Prime. Most of the subsequent character names and profiles throughout the original run were done by the primary Transformers US comic book writer, Bob Budiansky.

Floro Dery was primarily responsible for the look and feel of the Transformers cartoon series program, and he was the visual creator of The Transformers: The Movie. He refined some of the initial season one animated character models done in Japan, and subsequently interpreted the toy box art for further characters, creating the models that would become the visual guidelines both for the comic books and the animated cartoon.

Most Transformers come with "technical specifications" which detail the Transformer’s characteristics. Older Transformers come with Robot Points which could be redeemed for special Transformers which were not sold in stores, such as the Omnibots or the Decepticon triplets known as Reflector, a character who featured heavily in the early installments of the television series program, despite not being easily available as toys.
