A rubber duck, or rubber ducky, is a toy shaped like a duck that is made of rubber or rubber-like material such as vinyl plastic. Rubber ducks are generally yellow. Almost all modern rubber ducks are made out of vinyl plastic rather than rubber.

Most commonly, rubber ducks are designed to be used as floating bathtub toys, but not all rubber ducks are bath toys. Some rubber ducks are dolls or play figures similar to other squeeze or squeak toys typically given to children and sometimes dogs. Rubber ducks can be found in various colors, sizes, shapes, and outfits. Rubber ducks have achieved status as a popular icon and, while still primarily considered a children's toy, are used by people of all ages.

Rubber ducks may be equipped with a squeaker that makes a whistling or squeaking sound. More rarely, the toy may have a squeaker that makes a sound resembling the quack of a real duck. Bath toy ducks sometimes have a hole in the bill that allows the toy to take in and then squirt water.
Rubber ducks, are only one squeaker toy ... it is just the most popular... you can all kinds of squeak toys that children used in bath time or just to squeak for the noise.

My pomeranian loves her new egg babies dog toys. The eggs squeak which she adores and she has quickly learned how to pull them from the hedgehog's tummy.

I bought this for my very large American Bulldog because he loves anything with a squeaker in it. He immediately took out all the squeakers and played with all of them. I never thought in a million years this could be harmful. The next morning, I woke up to hearing him throw up. I went and checked on him and sure enough, he had thrown up an ENTIRE egg. I had no idea that he could even swallow something that large! Luckily he threw it up and didn't choke on it. I immediately had to throw the toy away. I have definitely learned my lesson with giving him small chew toys. I just wanted to warn anyone with larger dogs to make sure they watch their dog the entire time they are playing with this toy and if you are not able to then you probably should not purchase this toy.

Dogs love finding the hidden eggs inside this cute creature. Keeps them busy and then they play fetch with the eggs. Great company to do business wtih....price is good, service great!

My soft coated wheaten terrier is 3 months old. She learned how to find the eggs within a day. She loves this toy. She looks for it every morning when she first wakes up.

My dog just loves it. She goes nuts over the squeakers. The only set back is there is nothing to hold the "eggs" in the duck cause you have to use 2 at a time. Other than that plush toys are really good a durable.

This is a specific sensory toy-- not for the rough hand kid. My one son would squeeze it and pop it within a day but the one who we got it for will enjoy it all school year. He is the same child who would be bothered by the smell. They do tend to accumulate lint and dust though. This is normally the demise for it. The funny smell is typicall of all these jelly type toys.

This item smells horrible- almost like insecticide. It is made in China, so who knows what is in it. It also burst after three days of use. Not recommended for children; alright for adults as long as you wash your hands after using it to get the smell off.

I bought these to share with other young at heart adults in my office. We just laugh and laugh when we pull them out and shoot them at people that come into our office.

Hard for little hands to squeeze... and not very reliable shot... stomp rockets worked out much better for our 2 and 6 year olds!

Here is what this is: a little leaky bag full of sand, with a fairly fragile plastic covering. I'm not sure why, in this day and age, Isoflex can't find a plastic that lasts longer than a few months, but I assure you that the other reviewer is right, and the bag will break. Once the bag breaks, little clear grains of what is (probably) artificial sand start to leak out and you have to throw the whole thing away. The whole process has made me extremely stressed out and I will probably have to buy another stress ball just in order to cope. Also, you will find yourself wondering why you paid good money for something you could have made yourself with a sandwich bag and a trip to your local beach.

I bought one of these a few months ago to help with some muscle strain I get in my hand from heavy computer use. I saw a Dr. about my pain and they said the best thing was an exercise ball. I found this one and liked it a lot, but it isn't very durable. I used it about 4 times a day, 4 days a week for 2 months and now the skin of the sack is cracking. It's too bad really because I liked this one better than the other things I've used, including professional / medical grade Therapy Putty. The Putty would practically "melt" and loose it's strength after a few minutes use or on a hot day it would melt prior to handling it. The IsoFlex held up very consistently throughout use, and even now with the skin cracking it works fine. I can tell though that the skin will break soon and become unusable. I guess for the price it's a "disposable" item, and I probably will buy it again because of how much I like it. This time I'm going to buy 3 or 4 though!

I've had it for a few weeks, and it seems to be very durable so far. Pretty much as expected.

Walter The Farting Dog 8 Walter The Farting Dog 8" Plush Doll - Squeeze him and he farts!

Reviews

As a librarian, teacher and parent of young children, I was very excited about this plush book character. Maybe a little taboo, a farting dog, but very funny to children. Sadly when Walter arrived, his "farting" mechanism did not work and when I contacted Hastings, I got no response. When I suggested to the children that we send it back to Santa's workshop to be repaired, they thought it was awful to suggest such a thing. They love it just the way that it is, but I didn't get what I paid for.

I bought this as a gift for a friend, which I hoped would evoke some laughs. The product looked like it came in a large box of Cracker Jacks: shoddy, under-stuffed, ratty fur. Definitely not cute and no laughs. My friend gave it to her dog, who didn't want to play with it either.

If you just have to get your child (or yourself) a Farting Dog make Walter the one. He's quiet (even the farts), obedient and never barks. In fact, even his farts don't smell. A great companion.

A gift for my niece to go along with the book. She likes the book better, but it's a nice addition.

I purchased this toy for my grandson. The first one that I bought didn't work. I was given a refund, and I purchased a second one from another vendor on eBay. Both were purchased "new". The second one worked, but only for about one month, and then it stopped working. There is no opening for changing batteries, and no way to get to the sound box to look for a problem without cutting the toy open. Since this happened with not just one of these toys, but TWO, it makes me wonder if there is some sort of defect with the toy.

This book was not boring at all. I couldn't put it down! You just can't wait to find out what will happen next, in fact, this was the only book that I was interested in, I ususally hate reading, but with this book, I couldn't stop! This book took me about three days to read, when most books take me weeks! This book may be short, but it's worth it! It also is scary and has great twists, if you like the X-Files, read this book!

I really like this book. I love the details. It made me exited and interested. I couldn't put it down. I recomend this book to any one who likes mysteries and sience fiction books.

There is a killing in a high security office building with a man called George Usher. Blood is splattered everywhere, and Mulder and Scully are determined to find out what's up... Could this same guy have commited killings in 1903? Is he a inhuman monster? Does he take the livers of the killings out with his bare hands? And if so, why? Leave it to FBI Special Agents Mulder and Scully to find the truth "out there".

The Tv program was great and the book was even better, it gave a much more in depth and detailed account to all the events that occured through out. It was extremely well written and it really felt as though you were there feeling and seeing what mulder and scully saw and felt.

I loved this particualar episode when they aired it. The novelization, however, wasn't as Xceptional as the episode. I understand it's hard sometimes to novelize already written and created tv shows or movies, but this could have been better. But, this is a children's book, written in easy to read format. Eugene Tooms' eyes were YELLOW, not RED!!

Hey, Whipple, Squeeze This: A Guide to Creating Great Ads, Second Edition Hey, Whipple, Squeeze This: A Guide to Creating Great Ads, Second Edition

Reviews

The book was highly recommended by multiple professional copywriters and it's hard to pass up advice as easy as purchasing a book. An educational book unlike the textbooks from high school--meaning that you want to read it.

I was told to read this book from a very good colleague of mine, the former creative director of Y&R who has a copy writer background. The book has some very intelligent and insightful information about some advertising campaigns. Also very inspirational parts which made me shuffle through it again when I was trying to come up with concept ideas.

I thought the book was so-so and I disagree with about half of what the author states. The problem I have with this book is it focuses too much on creativity and image and not enough on generating sales and a return on investment for his clients. The purpose of advertising is to generate strong product interest and sales - not to win advertising awards for the ad agency because the ad is "really creative" but does little to grow a company's business.

One mark of a classic is that its lessons continue to apply regardless of the passage of time. A decade in advertising is like fifty years anywhere else, and yet Hey Whipple (written before interactive took off) remains invaluable. Someone could steal my Tipping Point and I'd be irritated, my Ogilvy on Advertising and I'd be disappointed, my Positioning and I'd be bummed, my AdCult USA and I'd be miffed--but if they stole Hey Whipple, I'd hunt them down with a blunt, heavy object.

I am currently a college Business and Advertising student. I was instructed by one of my professors to read this book after a great recommendation from him. I was not sure at first if it was going to be very interesting because I figured this old guy is telling me he loved this book so there is probably a slim chance that I a young college student would like it as well. It turns out I read this book in one day because it was so good. It was amazing and I learned so much from the book. I felt myself as I read it engulfing every word. Overall very funny and if you want to learn as much as possible about what the advertising world is all about read this.

But of course with these guns they kids lose all the darts right away. But it was a good gun and shot the darts out pretty far. They went about 20 feet at least.

All my boys love this gun. The only downside is it will need more mistles. They get lost very quickly. So far, it has held up just fine!

I bought this for my five year old who is fascinated with anything that shoots. I wanted something that we could teach the safety rules of shooting with. Although I have no complaints about the durability (It's sturdy and well made) or its accuracy (I've never used a nerf type shooter with more accuracy AND you can shoot the six missiles in semi-automatic fashion), it is not a toy for five year olds. The trigger requires much more strength than most five year olds have. I would say a good pick for 7 years and up.
