Purchased this and the spiderman wall cling graphics. What a great room. My grandsons love it! I purchased brick background wallpaper to go behind Spidey. Even though it says it can't go on wallpaer, it did, it does, and it hasn't peeled or curled yet, after 5 months. Looks just like Spidey stuck on the wall. Huge size and easy to put together. It comes in pieces so it's easy to work with, and the price can't be beat! Looked at those Fathead Spiderman graphics and this is just as large, great color and really inexpensive. I'm the best Grandma ever! Just ask them. LOL

I got this for my Grandson who absolutely adores anythng Spiderman! He was thrilled to put in on the wall in his bedroom. I would reccomend this for any Spiderman enthusiast! Very happy with the quality.

This wall sticker was exactly what I was looking for to put up in my 2 year old son's room. It is perfect size for the wall. My son was so excited while I was placing it on his wall and he loves seeing it there when he goes to bed at night. He really enjoys moving the mini-Spidey around to different walls or his headboard. It does not leave any residue and re-sticks to any hard surface. Great product for any parent that wants to decorate a kids room while keeping in mind that their interests will eventually change.

was concerned about actual dimentions when i initially bought it, but it exceeded my expectations. Measures approximately 3'X3'. Pieces were easy to manuver when we were trying to place them and you cant see overlaping lines when you stand back and look at it as a whole peice. Had to remove and move it and it restuck just like it said it would. No residue left behind or marks on the wall. My boyfriend's nephew LOVES it! Purchased several other characters by this company and they work jsut as well.

This wall sticker really looks great, the colors are vibrant. The applique is much larger then I thought it would be once I placed it. Spiderman really looks like he is jumping out of the wall. You will be very satisfied with this purchase. Spiderman fans of all ages will find this product --- neat!

I was nervous about these not sticking to our textured walls, but they worked out great. They are like a window cling in the sense that they are cut out plastic, but the material is not stiff. They are fairly thin and somewhat stretchy so they just smooth out and suck down to the texture on the wall. The folds in each sheet due to packaging do not affect the stickers because of this.

I bought these for my son's bathroom. He loves spiderman! They work great. I have had them on his bathroom walls for about 3 months now and they are sticking to the walls fine. No problems here.

I love these things . . . and so does my 3 year old little boy! They are a great addition to his Spiderman themed bedroom. He loves to peel them off and re-apply them else where (especially when he is in time out) and they still cling to the wall just fine, no bubble's or crease's either!

Super addition to a Spidey room. They look great on a light or white wall. Difficult to see on a darker wall. Good seller and fast shipping. Thanks again

I bought these for my son's room. He loves Spiderman and I thought these would be the perfect finishing touch. They are just large paper stickers that didn't stay up more than a few minutes. The walls were clean, freshly painted only a month ago, and smooth. Still these stickers started peeling before I could even put the last one up. By morning, they were all curled up and lying on my son's carpet. I promptly returned them.

I ordered this item, Spiderman 3 sheet set, as shown here and instead received a "Spider Sense" sheet set. The colors and patterns are totally different, so the sheet set did not coordinate with the Spiderman 3 comforter I purchased!

I'm re-doing my son's room in Spiderman. I bought the sheets and the comforter, along with some wall-clings, a hamper, lamp and other accessories. He can't wait to go to bed each night! He LOVES his Spiderman room. The sheets were a little rough when I took them out of the package. But I washed them with a double shot of fabric softener, and they came out nicely. And he loves them so that's all that matters!!!

My 2 1/2 year-old daughter cannot get enough of this one! By far, the best Elmo video there is....

I'll have to admit I don't really sit through these DVDs, just pop them in when I'm trying to entertain my grandson and it's too late or cold to go outside. He seems to enjoy them and Elmo has always been a safe choice.

My 2 yr old granddaughter LOVES this Elmo video! We usually watch it 2 or 3 times in a row. She has learned all the dances and will dance and sing along. It's a cute one, I'd highly recommend it!

My daughter just turned 3 and loves Elmo! She really likes this DVD! I'd say it's a good buy for your child if they are an Elmo fan!

My son is 3 months old and is very entertained by this video. He looks at the video and coes with a few arm and hand movements. I find that the video is a fun tool for learning and recommend it for young children.

great fun ,great graphics, allot of cameos(good and bad guys)tons of moves for both suits, controlls are pretty eays to use(i use an xbox controller)bosses are tough but not overly hard and choosing good or bad spidey is cool.overall a great superhero game and in my opinion the best spiderman game.

I've kept up with the Spider-Man games that Activision has put out over the years, and this one really is the best. The new fighting engine just rocks! It's difficult enough to stay challenging, but not so difficult that you get sick of playing it (Spider-Man 3). The only problem with the game is that it does lag very slightly because my computer hardware isn't a true gaming computer. If you want to play this, you need a high-end video card and at least a dual-core processor. Overall, this game just rocks!

omg this game is awesome!!!!!! i love it...much better than any other spiderman game i've ever played...and the best part is that you can change between the black and red suit...anytime you want!!! if you liked any other spiderman game...get this you'll really thank me! ps. make sure you have the system to run it... i didn't have any problem running it on my system (windows vista, nvidia geforce 9300m GS 512mb, intel duel centrino processer, and 4gigs:) so if you have anything like that you shouldn't have any problem.

Nice and a lot of fun on this great game, the only thing is that it seems like some movements are more likely for xbox 360 than PC controls. but still maybe with the patch some cut scenes and the part of the air camera will be fixed, other than that very good!

This game is sweet. Spiderman is cool. You get to wear the black suit and pull off wicked attack moves like you've never seen Spidey pull before. It's like Spidey on 'roids. Sweet.

Amazing Spider-Man Complete Comic Book Collection Win/Mac Amazing Spider-Man Complete Comic Book Collection Win/Mac

I LOVE this set! The scans are in .pdf, so I was able to transfer them to my iPhone and view through the Documents to Go app. Excellent to have 30 years of the wonderful wall-crawler in my pocket!

I wish more comics were available in digital format. I personally love to read comics and study these old beautiful books. However I neither have the shelf space to collect millions of comics, nor do I have the money to purchase moldy old paper backs that are grossly over priced and sealed in plastic bags. The other thing is that most graphic novel collections have really crappy color reproduction (It's like some clown just hit fill in Photoshop and then hit print!!) These collections are perfect for some one who loves comic art and wishes to simply read and study the art work. One thing I have noticed that really irritates me is that some people have bought up copies of these collections and marked up the price so high no one in their right mind can buy them. This is foolish as these are just scanned digital versions of these works of art and carry no real or lasting value except as reading material and as an essential reference material for artists. I would say to all of you involved in the practice of marking up these treasures, shame on you!! Go back to hocking over priced Back issues at lest you have a leg to stand on there! As they are at lest physical paper printings. Back to these wonderful book, I do realize that the big name comics desire higher profits then a one time fifty dollar collection of their entire run of a title but there are plenty of amazing smaller or defunded companies that have vast and amazing libraries! Companies like Gold Key, Gladstone, Dell, Charlton, and many many others would benefit form having their libraries archived digitally. As a young artist I feel there is a lot to be learned from the talented illustrators of the past and it would be a great service to all young aspiring writers and artists to have a viewable heritage to research and study. Keep it up "Graphic Image Technology" Inc. !!

I had the entire collection of Spider-Man when I was a kid, being an adolescent I decided it was time to let go my collection, that was my worst mistake in my life, I had a second chance and here I am, owner of this digital collection, if you are a true Spidey fan get it, is worth it and is way too cheap.

In high school and college I collected the dead tree editions of several Spidey books. Spectacular and Web Of were my two staples. But as a die hard Spidey fan, having all of these issues on one disc, is unbelievable. Going back to Day One and seeing those first appearances is really cool. Likewise, it was a lot of fun to see where the modern-day story line has gone. Another great aspect of these archived issues is seeing all of the original ads. Forget Xbox and Playstation, all the cool kids want an NES or a Genesis under their Christmas tree this year. Lots of nostalgia for spider-fans of any era. The compelling art, great story lines, complete with all of the Annuals. Its all here. If you love the Webhead, or know someone who does, this is a great way to enjoy all of the storylines, without taking up several closets to archive these issues in the requisite boards, bags, and boxes. And all of the villains are here. The various goblins, Sandman, Rhino, right on through to Venom and Carnage. Plus the super sexy curves of Mary Jane as she's been drawn through the years. Makes me want to get my hands on some of the other collections available, such as Ghost Rider.

Being able to instantly read any Amazing Spider-Man comic is a dream. I hope this sells well enough for marvel to continue this. I can't recommend this enough. The 2 lone and insignificant caveats: 1. These are hand-scanned images of the comics. So the old ones look a little washed out and all the ads are there (which I think is awesome, even the staple!) 2. During most of the 90's, storylines frequently crossed through all the Spider-titles (Amazing, Spectacular, No Adjective). You only get the Amazing issues, so You'll get a lot of dead issues that leave you wondering what just happened and how it ends. Final note: If you get an annoying watermark on every page, get a new PDF reader. I use Adobe (free) with no problems.

LeapFrog Tag Activity Storybook The Amazing Spider-Man: The Lizard's Tale LeapFrog Tag Activity Storybook The Amazing Spider-Man: The Lizard's Tale

My son is four years old and he loves this book. However, I feel it is for older children. It is set up like a comic book; I guess I am not familiar with spiderman books. I just prefer all of his other books over this one.

My nephew is in kindergarden; he is learning to read and is into Spiderman--so this is a great combination for him to learn! Product was delivered in a very timely manner with no problems. Thank you!!

First off... we LOOOVE the Tag Pen and the other books we've purchased. My son is 4.5 and is already devouring these books in a feverish pace. We got this Spidey one thinking it would be much like the others we've read (Pirates, Diego, Cars, etc.). It's not. First off, it's a comic book... whole-heartedly. It has comic art and comic humor, and comic edgy-ness. That being said, it was a bit too much for my guy. The premise of the story involves a scientist who's experiment goes haywire and turns him into a huge, wild beast-like lizard. The lizard-man drawing is pretty spooky and he's shown acting crazed on most pages. And, the other part of the plot is that the scientist's son is desperately trying to help Spiderman help his father reverse the botched experiment. Little boy crying about his father being in trouble... also, not something my son felt so good about. We didn't get much further than trying to read the story once through, so I can't comment on the educational value of this one. The other books were all so mind-blowingly great! Fun, wholesome, and amazingly educational. I'm am really sad that this one didn't work out. Maybe next year it'll be less scary. Sadly, you can't preview the books before you purchase them... so, I hope this description helps. But, I'm thinking this Spiderman book is probably also on-par with the Star Wars one, and the Ben 10 one. Bummers...

I bought this for my four year old son and it was a huge hit. It has a number of activities that have enteratined him for hours.

My 5 year old is a big Spiderman fan and loves this book. He enjoys using his Tag reader to "read" it by himself. He is thrilled to hear Spiderman's voice and all of the sound effects. Both of my sons (the other is 3) have always loved books but this is just a new and different way for them to spend time "reading". It's not a board book so the pages are thin and could rip if you have a baby in the house who is prone to ripping up books. A great buy.

Fun to play with, and very durable. My son still plays with this after a month and a half after Christmas.

We have had this toy for only a few months, but it has been crashed down stairs, into walls and is still great. The paint hasn't chipped at all and my boys love it.

I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas and he loves it. Every boy of a certain age will love it too.

Spiderman Child Helmet and Pads Combo Pack Combo Spiderman Child Helmet and Pads Combo Pack Combo

This product was purchased for our son who is "stepping up" to a bigger bike and now, of course, needs a bigger helmet. The helmet fits snuggly and comes with an additional set of (somewhat) thicker foam pads that can easily be swapped out if the helmet needs to be made more snug. The elbow and knee pads are a good addition and they store easily right inside the helmet.

I also opted for the child size due to comments on the toddler size that it was much too small, this one fits quite well on my 3 year old. The quality is about what I expected for the price. My son, of course, LOVES the design. A few weeks after purchasing it, we went to the park and saw that another child had forgotten his helmet - it was the exact same helmet. The helmet we found there had kind of come apart, the plastic covering that has the design on it had come away from the white helmet material underneath. I suspect the same thing will eventually happen to our helmet, but I think a little glue to stick it back on would do the trick.

I never thought my son would be asking for a helmet before sitting on his bike. But he does now, thanks to this Spiderman set. He loves to wear the whole gear before every ride. I bought the kid size although his age recommends a toddler size. This is because the reviews on toddler size said it was too small. This might be true as the kid size fits well for my son.

don't take me wrong it does the job, but it is a very cheap product

The helmet and pads are both safe and cool !! The fit is good for a child between toddler& big kid.

Made a great gift with the varied artist that has songs on it.

I bought the Spiderman II Cd and absolutely fell in love with it, i love every song on that cd, best cd i ever bought. So i figured i'd like this one too. It pretty much sucks. There's a few good ones, but i end up skipping most of them. Thuroughly disappointed.

I have to say that I love tracks 2, 7 and 8. I really only bought this Cd for "Hero" by Chad Kroeger...actually it seems strange that this Cd is the only place to get this song, it should totally be on a single. But anyway; I got "Hero" and was very pleased with it, and then tracks 7/8 were just a bonus. And for just about three and a half dollars it was well worth the price.

I guess for one thing- this soundtrack's only really made notable due to the inclusion of the original theme from the old television cartoon series, and the vamped out rendition of AEROSMITH, which the RAMONES have covered as well (but is not included in the soundtrack - nor does it appear on the movie). Welp, this soundtrack includes a lot of tracks that are not only irrelevant- but hadn't even appeared in the movie; with a number of them coming from those dorky/unknown kind of bands which runs in the commercialized vein with a stolen format taken from the unsung SIZE 14 -- from the likes of BLEU; SUM 41 (who 'sings' "Rock- that's what we're all about; that's what we live for, comon shout it out" when obviously they dont live what they're yapping at -cos they rap. Rap aint rock- it's crap!); DEFAULT with a track called 'Blind' (when we're not talking about the soundtrack for DAREDEVIL aren't we); the disgusting GREENWHEEL which vies for a MATCHBOX 20 swouwnd with its vowculliestth (it's vocalist Rob Thomas he aint- maybe wanting to charm chicks same way the said Thomas did); that passe band called THE STROKES who tries to emulate BECK's sound (which would've amounted to nothing if not for 'Loser'); and THEORY OF A DEAD MAN singing about 'The Invisible Man'- which is not that bad really, its just that the track could've been rendered the invincible instead, cos Spidey didn't have any invisibility powers y'know. Let alone Harry Potter. It would've been a better deal for the movie and the soundtrack as well if they'd featured that fabulous ozzy band MIDNIGHT OIL doing a rendition of their own 'King of the Mountain' - on that scene where The Green Goblin made his first appearance in the flick by attacking the launching party for OsCorp, instead of that annoying vocal performance of Macy Grey. Other notable tracks in the soundtrack of sorts are the ones from THE HIVES (who would've been fitting if its a soundtrack about the MOTH MAN ~kidding), and contributions from posers by the likes of CHAD KROEGER and COREY TAYLOR. Real notable tracks are those from ALIEN ANT FARM (who would've been fitting for A BUG's LIFE or maybe for the ANT MAN if a movie'd come around for this old comic book hero would come by if ever hehehe); rival-to-STP's ALICE IN CHAINS vocalist Jerry Cantrell and from Pete Yorn (who also appeared on a RAMONES tribute album), plus my real favourite in the soundtrack is the track from INJECTED called 'IV-V-VI'. However, Danny Elfman did a fine rendering of the score (which is released in full through the Spidey movie score soundtrack album (such clever marketing gimmicks thus)) mainly with the Main Title track, and it's a neccessary thing for Elfman considering that a lot are beggining to label his music as monotunous, mainly through his works for Tim Burton's movies. They could've rather set the songs with Elfman's songs on a single soundtrack album, and in my crummy opinion - what should've been in the album are the following: IN SEQUENCE/ORDER of TRACKS= 1) Spider Man theme 2) Spider Man theme RAMONES 3) Main Title theme DANNY ELFMAN add there 4) CHAD KROEGER and 5) COREY TAYLOR's 6) ALIEN ANT FARM 7) THE HIVES contributions cos reportedly they are really intended for the film as meant -and 8) INJECTED 9) MIDNIGHT OIL's rehash of 'King Of The Mountain' 10) JERRY CANTRELL's 11) AEROSMITH's theme version 12) Farewell DANNY ELFMAN along with his other score tracks - plus I guess a contribution for the GREEN GOBLIN's Theme would've sufficed and that it would be commisionned that the said track would be a contribution from Ozzy Osborne. Other artist who would've been fitting to appear in the soundtarck would be: TORI AMOS, BJORK, CHEAP TRICK, U2, and STING. Furthermore, I guess it would've been okey as well if they'd JOAN OSBORNE also as commisioned to do a retake of her song 'Spider Web' for this soundtrack and've pulled out to inlude the old NO DOUBT tune of the same title from their early works. And in passing - howzabout one of those tracks from the old 70's indie issued SPIDERMAN: Rock Reflections of a SuperHero record (with Stanley's narration) like 'No One's Got A Crush On Peter'... or at least if it'd appeared a bit as a background on the movie.

If you can get this album for 2.00 its worth it. Otherwise forget it. This must be noted:ALMOST ALL THE SONGS ON THIS SOUNDTRACK ARE NOT IN THE MOVIE!!!! If you have unfortunately bought this album. Your best bet is to copy the couple of songs that were in the film and sell it to a FYE store near you or a used cd place.Remember folks, you can always sell it.

Average Rating:

The boys will be so pleased. Radio-friendly stadium rock is back in a big way, and Music from and Inspired by Spider-Man makes capital use of the trend. Like the blockbuster film itself, there's an attempt to provide something enjoyably disposable for everyone--resulting in "anthemic" songs you nod along to, and then forget the second they're done...

A 'must have' for Tori fans. Augmented by long time musicians, Matt Chamberlain and Jon Edwards, this concert filmed on the last night of the year long "Scarlet's Walk Tour" shows Tori at her finest. The set list is impeccable with a mix of fine new selections and beefed up and fresh arrangements of older classics. The bonus cd tracks are great and the bonus dvd interviews are a warm and engaging insight into this prolific and provocative artist. Completely worth it.

This is a concert DVD of Tori's last performance on the Scarlet Walk tour, only it is not the full show. Her voice is not as great as it could be because it IS the last show of a two year tour. Footage of fans is a mix between disturbing and funny--some are nuts and others are really genuine in their Tori love. The show itself has some of the best versions of performances. She has a lot of energy as a performer that does and doesn't translate on film. Still, the behind the scenes stuff is funny, and her interview with her mother is adorable. Also, the bonus EP that comes with the dvd is worth buying the whole dvd for! Scarlet's Hidden Treasures are just that! Apollo's Frock, Seaside and Tombigbee are incredible. Even if you're just Tori-curious, I would say go ahead and get this. ;)

But this looks like different (cuts)? I got rid of mine-but I still have FADE TO RED which is A+ at any rate-you need a PAL R2 converting player-these can be had for $50(no!) to $200 (yes) in the midrange players-Most of them you can transform with the remote-IF you know the codes-which you can find on the all region sites In Europe they are not easily shocked-theyve seen it all before-for many centuries And they appreciate encentric jeanni ous-es.(sic) So the songs may not be censored -some are selling it for under $10-but being 16x9 enhanced widescreen would be nice I am very new/late to the TA party-and I feel as if Ive arrived too long after it has started-but after all these years, the two discs I had I merely tossed on in the background-with no real imprint. Then I downloaded the Live in Chicago 2007 'bootleg', and then it all hit me-hard. CFG i have always liked-and this surpassed that like crazy Some things sound better studio-PRECIOUS THINGS, CORNFLAKE GIRL, GOD; Some MUCH better live-WAITRESS-left me stunned-and the dark version of ME AND A GUN among others. Her technical command of the piano is marvelous-but it is incredibly filled with Tori and her energy and soul. The original piano arrangements can be heard more clearly-and less diluted on studio pieces-and the added detail-not feasible live-she just chops it all out-as her gusto was also palpable on the live recordings I listened to ADP-it went in one ear and out the other-as I thought-oops the genius has finally gone over the top and now coasting; And little did I know that i love the live versions of the same songs of much of that album The ferocious energy in which she tackles THESE PRECIOUS THINGS (studio)is mind boggleing -the piano arrangements/motif are mind boggling; She infuses an almost classical music kinetic into it-and the hyperventilating---- So ive missed out on 15 years of musical genius; I hate using hyperbole-but when a piece(s) of music comes on that sends chill through your being-and you quickly learn to anticipate each note-that says it all for me. I get lost in much of her music and think she has accomplished her mission-to touch people with her vision, emotions and the- more unnameable things I NEVER in a million years knew she had such a [potty mouth]. As Pip in Chicago-she could make a Trooper blush. I had NO idea-just thought she was a regular sweet-raised-on cornbread-and-greens girl from Virginia Her early life sounds very discouraging and disturbing-with that I can empathize-much- as well her strength and creative beauty. Her ability to push onward marvels me Any girl that can roll in the mud, jump at her peril into a cold river-and be in heels and leather the next day, I say-(...!) Just saw a pic of the imp laying on the ground-99% of the nine inch nail girly girls would not be caught dead doing-plus with a large tree in her crotch-(of which 105% of them would never be caught dead...)-she needed longer legs or a smaller tree- almost had me spit coffee on the screen; Three stars for the US version of this-which I had-and one more- just for her being her.... To think of the many times I could have seen her here live-and didnt - On some of the vids on FTR-where she finishes facing the camera-she does something odd-she shines-energy comes up through her face up outward and -I really dont know how to put it -like she is kissing you with her eyes-00

I just watched this DVD for the first time, I wasn't aware it was out there even though I have been a tori fan for over ten years. I loved and was drawn in by her performance on this DVD and the interviews were a great personal look into her behind the stage. I have seen her in concert recently and she still takes you to places you cant describe. The one thing I would love to ask her if I ever met her is why "Professional Widow" is censored. I was not happy about this at all. But other than that it is a must have for any avid Tori fan.

I am too much of a Christian to be completely comfortable with Tori Amos either lyrically or how she comes across in concert. I am too much of an artist not to be a Tori Amos fan. This concert video added to it. One reviewer complained that it was the final concert of the Scarlet's Walk Tour. So would you have preferred a different concert from that tour or a different tour? I saw a list of bootleg tapes (or videos) from her Beekeeper tour, and realized that the song list varies for her from concert to concert. (Nothing irritates me more than going to two concerts by the same artist on the same tour and knowing in advance what the song order is, or to realize that if I didn't hear my favorite song from album X when the artist is promoting album X, I won't ever hear that song live.) I enjoyed that she played around with the songs, not just trying to recapture the sound of the original album. Different artists have different philosophies of this (Hall and Oates share Ms. Amos' approach; Styx wants to make be as close to the original as possible; Phil Keaggy realizes which leads are ones people expect to be performed, but has variation otherwise). I especially enjoyed the prolonged start of "Crucify". This DVD includes a live interview with both Tori and her mother. There are segments of the interview shown in the concert video, which I liked -- it helped keep the video interesting. Also included is the CD of "Scarlet's Hidden Treasures." Is it good? It's Tori -- what do you expect?!

Average Rating:

Tori Amos's first concert-length live DVD, Welcome to Sunny Florida, is a riveting showcase for the artist's formidable vocal and instrumental chops and preciously off-kilter pop music. Taped on a wet day in September 2003 at West Palm Beach (the final stop on Amos's Lottapianos tour), the show was well performed, stunningly recorded, and lusciously lensed, if too frantically cut...

As far as movie soundtracks go, "Spider-Man 2" is decent with a variety of songs that any music lover would enjoy. The CD starts with the heavy hitting "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional and continues rockin' through Train's "Ordinary", Hoobastank's "Did You" and into the classic feel of "Hold On" by Jet and the rock ballad for Mary Jane, "Gifts and Curses" by Yellowcard. The soundtrack changes gears a bit with the funky beat of "Woman" by Maroon 5 and shifts back to the rock `n' roll style with "This Photograph Is Proof" by Taking Back Sunday and Midtown's "Give It Up". The vocals for "Lucky You" by lostprophets are a bit softer but still continue the rock theme along with "Who I Am" by Smile Empty Soul. "The Night That The Lights Went Out In NYC" by The Ataris is one of the more melodic rock ballads on the CD as is "We Are" by Ana, which quickly reveals a harder edge. "Someone to Die For" by Jimmy Gnecco definitely feels like a Queen influenced ballad probably due to Brian May's work on the song. "Spidey Suite" and "Doc Ock Suite", both by Danny Elfman, are orchestral numbers. Train's "Ordinary" had to be my favorite. It's a well-rounded rock song with a great beat, vocals and sound. A close second would have to be Jet's "Hold On" for its classic rock/melodic feel, Midtown's "Give It Up" for its upbeat rhythm, "Someone to Die For" by Jimmy Gnecco and Brian May because it's reminiscent of Queen (since I'm a fan of their music, I'll be a bit biased towards that one) and "Doc Ock Suite" because it seems to be more inspired than the one for Spidey.

I didn't really liked the movie. it's not bad, it's just boring, i think. but this cd, is absolutely fantastic. the songs are amazing. they fit well. the soundtracks flows perfectly. the only songs i don't like so much are danny elfman's, they're not really my style, as they difer completely from the rest of the cd. this is one of my favorite cds ever it has great bands, some i knew before, some i didn't. and it's definitely worth buying.

Esto es un disco recopilatorio, no la partitura de Danny Elfman, que se la despachan con dos cortes. ¿Dónde está la original? ¿Ya está descatalogada? Entonces sólo queda una solución...

Definitely better than the first movie's soundtrack. Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional is probably the most recognized song from this soundtrack and I find okay I'm not a big fan of Dashboard, but I was pleasantly surprised by this album. I even liked the songs by bands that I am not to fond of such as Yellowcard(builds up nicely in the middle and the violin adds a little something extra). Train and the Ataris also contribute good songs for the soundtrack. The tracks I would highlight are by Jet(are very good when they slow down), Midtown(totally rocks) and Taking Back Sunday(another good uptempo song). But the track I enjoy the most is "Someone To Die For" by Jimmy Gnecco(Ours) and Brian May(Queen) Jimmy has one of the best singing voices on the music sceen right now and Brian May has an incredible guitar sound all his own and both artists really sound good together. Definitely a sound track worth buying.

If the songs on this CD are any indication of the quality of the songs on the soundtrack for 2007's "SpiderMan 3" soundtrack, I will be one of the 1st to buy it. An awesome CD... 1. Dashboard Confessional- Vindicated (not bad 95/100) 2. Train- Ordinary (sucked 80/100) 3. Hoobastank- Did You (cool 90/100) 4. Jet- Hold On (not good 85/100) 5. Yellowcard- Gifts and Curses (top 3 100/100) 6. Maroon5- Woman (almost the worst song 60/100) 7. Taking Back Sunday- Photograph... (cool 90/100) 8. Midtown- Give It Up (great 99/100) 9. Lostprophets- Lucky You (the best song on here 110/100) 10. Smile Empty Soul- Who I Am (tie for best song 110/100) 11. The Ataris- The Night... (sucks 65/100) 12. Ana- We Are (great voice 90/100) 13. Jimmy Gnecco- Someone to Die For (worst song 51/100) For fans of rock, this is the CD you can't miss.

for me Spiderman is similar to Superman. both hold up the values that the USA was founded on in 1776 ( almost 235 years ago )

I really enjoyed this movie it had him against 3 villians tons of good action scenes, good story twist.(SPOILER ALERT) He fights against his friend Harry(new goblin) seeking revenge on his friend for murdering his father, the sandman (Flint Marko) who is a convict who escapes from prison for the murder of Ben Parker (Peters uncle) which is revealed that he was the one who killed his uncle instead of his partner and last but not least the evil alien symbiote Venom which it lands on earth and sneaks a ride on Peters scooter to invade his body and reveals Peters darkside but eventually Peter is able to fight the symbiote and remove it. It starts to take over Eddie Brock which he starts to use his new evil power to kill Peter for humiliating him. This spider man movie was really good but I wish they could of had venom more screen time. This upcoming reboot is a very stupid idea, I don't know why they are starting the series over, i really enjoyed this cast and all the sequels. Tobey Maguire was a perfect spider man. I don't know who they will pick again and what the plot and the villians will be. Lets boycott this reboot it doesn't need one.

Rented Spider-Man 3 this weekend. Spider-man 3 ties up the loose ends from the first two Spider-man movies. Overall I found it to be a stronger sequel than Spider-man 2.

I got this blu Ray used and it was in awesome condition and came quickly

Loved this movie before I saw it on blu-ray, loved it even more after viewing it on blu-ray.

How does Spider-Man 3 follow on the heels of its predecessor, which was widely considered the best superhero movie ever? For starters, you pick up the loose threads from that movie, then add some key elements of the Spidey comic-book mythos (including fan-favorite villain Venom), the black costume, and the characters of Gwen Stacy and her police-captain father...

For its time, Spider-Man (2002) is an impressive technical achievement, as well as an entertaining, straight ahead action film. Director Sam Raimi's interpretation of the vanguard of Marvel Comics, while a pretty good thrill ride, is open to much discussion, as he reconfigures the Spider-Man universe. Spider-Man was created by Stan Lee and Steve Dikto, back in 1963, and has become an icon among comic book superheroes. In 1967, Spider-Man appeared in an animated series, that captured much of the basic essence of the character, and helped to boost his popularity. The short lived 1978 TV series, demonstrated that realistically translating the character to live action, would be a major technical challenge. It would not be until after another twenty years had passed, that technology would advance far enough to make bringing the webslinger to the big screen possible. With nearly forty years of history behind Spider-Man, the challenge was to decide what to focus on, and how to present the characters. While the screenplay gets some things right, there are other matters that do not play as well, as Spidey's life story gets a major makeover. The film takes the traditional route, starting at the beginning, with a retelling of the origin of the character, and after setting the stage, Act II focuses on Spider-Man's battle with the Green Goblin. Casting was a crucial process, and after appearing as Spider-Man in three films, I have mixed feelings about Toby Maguire. Not so much with his performance as Spider-Man, but mostly as Peter Parker. His voice sounds too boyish, and his portrayal does not match my conception of the character. The writing is a major contributor to this, as Maguire's Parker comes off as more of a shy, clumsy, lovesick goof, rather than as teen struggling with coming to terms with being a superhero. The angst and inner conflict that Parker had in the early days (the first 100 issues of The Amazing Spider-Man), as well as Spidey's irreverent sense of humor, is completely missing. As is having to deal with financial troubles, and Aunt May's health concerns. While going in that direction might have dragged down the movie, even a critical element like Peter's relationship with Uncle Ben (Cliff Robertson), is glossed over. In the 1960's era comics, Mary Jane was an outgoing swinger type, and bears little resemblance to the confusingly written 'good girl' character we have here. Peter is her neighbor for 12 years, yet she hardly knows him, and then he suddenly becomes her soulmate? Kirsten Dunst does a good job with the role as written. The issue is not with her performance, but again like Maguire, with the writing. Peter's love interest in the early comics was Betty Brandt, followed by Gwen Stacy. However, involving those characters would have probably been too complicated, particularly as the focus in the film is on Parker's high school life. Peter is made to appear to be afraid of girls, but in the comics he was more preoccupied with other matters, and regarded as a 'square', rather than being afraid. While the rationale for some of these decisions is understandable, the mixed up timeline, and the jumble of partial truths with fiction, can be hard for aficionados of the older comics to accept. Listening to the comments by Raimi, John Dykstra, and others, it often sounds like they are selling a bill of goods. Repeatedly we hear things like Norman Osborn is like Peter's 'surrogate father', and that he favors Peter over his own son. Osborn offers to help Peter as Harry's roommate, but actually does nothing for him on a personal level. Willem Dafoe is an exceptional choice for the Osborn/Green Goblin role, but the Goblin's costume is ridiculous joke, looking like a shiny vinyl lizard that is hard to look at without laughing. It's too bad, because the Goblin maneuvers very well on his glider, and his pumpkin bombs are extremely stylish. When the Goblin knocks Spidey unconscious, in what universe is it possible, that while helpless, the Goblin didn't take the opportunity to peek under his mask? Wouldn't you? Unlike the Goblin, Spider-Man's costume looks fabulous, although it is apparently not very durable, and the mask seems very prone to damage. Later in Spider-Man 2, the mask comes off so often as to be completely ridiculous. The special effects do a good job of recreating the kind of radical movements Spidey is capable of. He is almost flying across the skyline of New York. Peter's ability to create his own webbing, versus man made web shooters, is more in line with the DNA angle to his origin, and simplifies things for the filmmakers. Revealing some of the deficiencies of Spider-Man, is the sequel Spider-Man 2 (2004), which is a much better film, particularly from a technical standpoint, where both Spidey and Dr. Octopus, do some amazing things. Unfortunately all three Spider-Man films, display an unfortunate pattern regarding the mortality of super-villains. Sam Raimi definitely deserves a lot of credit for what he has achieved with the Spider-Man franchise. The films are spectacular, and very entertaining, and have forever lifted him from the ranks of cult horror films. With a history so long and rich, there will be issues regarding Spider-Man, no matter what road is taken. Raimi seems to have carte blanche regarding the character, and the films are rewriting Spider-Man's history in quite significant ways. It is apparent that the PG-13 films, are targeted squarely at a young audience, who have different tastes, and may have never read a Spider-Man comic. The decisions made here were crucial, as they established the framework for the films that follow, and will become 'reality' for those who have no other frame of reference. Raimi had great power in deciding what to do, but did he live up to the responsibility of doing justice to Spider-Man? In the end, while the film successfully delivers Spider-Man, it falls very much short in depicting the lives of the real life characters.

Purchased this DVD set to replace the VHS tape we had originally, so that we could watch it on our new tv. Great buy!

The disc came to me with a huge sticky smudge all over it along with several deep scratches. Therefore the disc would not play even after I cleaned it as best as possible.

This flick was decades in the making. So many legal setbacks forced Spider-man to bounce from rights holder to rights holder before finally finding a place with Sony to deliver the goods. The hype surrounding this movie was astounding. I remember getting my copy of the soundtrack before the movie came out, and not just that, but also a copy of the "Hero" single by Nickelback as well. Seeing Spidey swinging over a gold-bathed New York on its cover got me even more stoked for this film. And so, opening night, I went with my dad to check the movie out, my heart pounding with excitement, the previews before the movie taking excruciatingly long. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire), geek extraordinaire, gets bitten by a radioactive "super spider" while on a class fieldtrip as he tries to get a picture for the school paper of next-door-neighbour-slash-love-of-his-life Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst). Following a bout of sickness, Peter wakes up the next morning no longer a skinny geek but instead buff and tough, wondering what happened to him. Adding to the weirdness, he's suddenly able to do things he wasn't able to do before: no need for glasses; lots of energy; fantastic agility; amazing strength; sticks to walls; shoots sticky white web-things out of his wrists; can sense bad things before they happen. So, like any good teenager with superpowers, he uses them to impress the girl of his dreams, in his case taking on a spider-like persona in a wrestling match to win some big money to buy a car. While on the way there, he fights with his uncle, Ben, and leaves in a huff, only to later find out the burglar he let get away--who had stolen from the wrestling folks who didn't pay him what he was worth--killed his uncle in an effort to swipe a getaway car. Also going on, Norman Osborne (Willem Dafoe) is having trouble with his company and so, in a fit to prove to the military his superhuman formula works so he can sell it to them, he tries it on himself . . . but with dire side effects: the creation of an alternate personality which is eventually dubbed "the Green Goblin." When things go sour for the company, the board of directors votes him out and Norman goes into full villain mode to exact his revenge. Across the city, Peter has learned that with great power comes great responsibility and so avenges his uncle's death by using his new spider-like powers for good and becomes the Amazing Spider-man. It's hero versus villain, Spider-man versus the Green Goblin, in this superheroic slugfest/love story/coming-of-age movie that made the wait for this flick well worth it. To be honest, however, the crazy overhype of this movie did put a damper on it for me when I first saw it. Straight up: when I left the theatre opening night I left disappointed. No that I thought it was awful, not by any means, it was just there was this lingering "Is that it?" feeling that hung over me as I made my way back to the car. If anything, Spider-man is definitely an origin movie, something to set the stage for more to come, giving a rich back story and atmosphere not to just Peter Parker's world, but to each of the supporting characters, even J. Jonah Jameson (who J.K. Simmons played brilliantly, by the way). The effects were top notch save for a couple moments where you clearly saw the Peter that was swinging and jumping from rooftop to rooftop was animated. Speaking of the swinging, when Spidey took you up and down through the deep concrete chasms of New York--man, you felt like you were there, swinging along with him. I heard they even developed a "spider-cam" for this movie. Cool. And that heartbreaking scene at the end where Peter turns down MJ? My heart bled for the guy. Do I stand by Spider-man? Absolutely. I saw it again in the theatre, going back with the mindset of "seeing it for what it was," and I adored it afterward. Out of the three movies in this series so far, it's my second favorite. As for my favorite-favorite, just watch my reviews. This was a superhero movie done right, done well and done just plain cool. Recommended. A.P. Fuchs Canister X

2002 saw the start of the era of the comic book movie, one that was heavy on tight storylines, great special effects and cunning direction. Spider-man fit that bill. Marvel Comics prime superhero, his story is interesting, his facts everyone can relate to. Everything Peter is, Norman Osborn is too, except the Goblin is not a hero. As the Goblin said, "We are what we choose to be!" Norman's company is about to die a slow death. He's not getting the military contracts he needs to keep the business going. The board of directors is stonewalling him and demanding his resignation. He must do something. Peter's life in high school is full of humiliation and fear. He's not getting the respect he needs to keep his life going. His "friends" are stonewalling him and demanding he get out of their way. He must do something. Through the fate of a radioactive, genetically enhanced spider, Peter gets the power he needed to make some changes in his life. Ah, what the Goblin would not do to possess such power. There is humor in the piece, but also a lot of raw human emotion. If you have ever gone through teh grief process, you can relate to Aunt May and Peter's loss of Uncle Ben. However, you can also relate to Harry Osborn's grief process with his father (not knowing Norman is the infamous goblin). Favorite scenes include the kissing scene, MJ's wet shirt, some funeral pathos, some New Yorkers getting angry, and Peter clueless about women. Sam Raimi put together a great story here, taking the basic elements of the original Marvel Comics tale and made some changes. However, I still miss Gwen Stacy! The double-disc of the widescreen edition is really hot. You have the film in Disc 1 and the usual scene selections. In Disc 2, it's full of interviews, screen tests, special effects mysteries revealed and so on. It's a cool package. A must-see. Recommended. For devoted fans and nonfans alike, Spider-Man offers nothing less--and nothing more--than what you'd expect from a superhero blockbuster. Having proven his comic-book savvy with the original Darkman, director Sam Raimi brings ample energy and enthusiasm to Spidey's origin story, nicely establishing high-school nebbish Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) as a brainy outcast who reacts with appropriate euphoria--and well-tempered maturity--when a "super-spider" bite transforms him into the amazingly agile, web-shooting Spider-Man...

In this second installment in the Spider-Man franchise, Peter Parker has his back against the wall as he tries to juggle life as a student, being best friends with Mary Jane Watson, carrying the guilt of his uncle's death, freelancing for the Daily Bugle, delivering pizza, and, of course, being ever on-call as your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man. No matter how hard he tries, Peter just can't seem to balance everything at once and the constant sacrifices he makes in his personal life so he can help others wears him down . . . down . . . down . . . until he can't take it anymore and his spider-powers begin to change. Then vanish. The timing couldn't have been worse, either, because Dr. Otto Octavius's energy device backfired and has fused four robotic arms to his body, their AI worming its way into his brain, controlling him. All they care about is fulfilling their purpose and they don't care who they have to hurt to recreate the device they were made for. Dr. Octopus's (Doc Ock) rampage through New York is met with little resistance until our favorite web-slinger attempts to take him on. This movie thrills the inner fanboy much more than its predecessor and officially is my favorite so far in the Spider-Man series. This flick carries near start-to-finish classic superhero goodness: stellar aerial battles, eye-popping web-slinging, dual identity troubles, nerd-can't/won't-get-the-girl issues, a hardcore villain bent on his mark, trials, sacrifice--all crammed into a little over two-hour movie. But the pacing works and doesn't feel over cluttered at all. You feel for Peter Parker every minute of this film, both when he's at the top of his game and when he's at the bottom, and when he loses his spider-powers, your heart sinks and you cry out, "No! Not Peter! His powers are part of who he is. How can you take them away?" Tobey Maguire was extremely believable in this film and brought a real depth to Parker that--though was present in the first one--really shone through in this one. And Alfred Molina as Doc Ock? Such duality. When you first meet Otto Octavius, he genuinely seems like a nice guy, an almost fatherly figure in a way, but when he loses his project and those he cares about, things switch and he barely resembles the man he once was. Yet deep within, you see him struggling against the mechanical arms that have taken over his body and mind. J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson was hilarious as always, and Kirsten Dunst as MJ--there was more maturity in the character this time around and though she still acted kind of "high school-ish," you also saw someone struggling with who they were--more specifically, trying desperately to reach out to the man she's fallen for but who is pushing her away. Spider-Man 2 thrilled me to pieces. I was there on opening night and I left the theatre all smiles and in a state of disbelief at how downright cool it was. I wasn't sure if it would top the first one because most sequels--till that point because the Superman movies and the previous set of Batman films were pretty much what we had to go on except for X2--usually don't nail it like the first one. I was proven wrong. This movie rocked so hard I went back a couple more times and bought it on DVD as soon as I could. Check this flick out. You're in for an amazingly cool, web-slinging good time. Recommended. A.P. Fuchs Canister X

It's no surprise to many people here that I consider `Spider-Man 3' to be a travesty. I was looking forward to that movie so much and I was let down SOOOO much by the sloppy construction, poor visuals, ridiculous scripting and overall messy structure. The reason I was looking forward to it was because, as many have already stated (critics alike), `Spider-Man 2' is probably the best superhero movie EVER! Plot holes or not, I still slightly prefer `The Dark Knight' (I love my superheroes to have a little grit on them). Where `Spider-Man' was a nicely constructed origin story, `Spider-Man 2' becomes a brilliantly orchestrated expansion on that origin, complete with a profound moral structure that elevates the film from a mere `comic book movie'. With a solid script that really gets to the heart of the characters and makes them real and relatable, `Spider-Man 2' is an outstanding film, no matter what genre you place it in. It has layer upon layer of interesting and memorable development. The film is, in a word, very complex (but that is a good thing). Picking up where the first film left off, Peter Parker is struggling to accept who he has become. He still suffers from guilt, but he has masked that guilt with a newfound responsibility. That responsibility is making it very difficult for Peter to strike a needed balance between his personal life and that of being Spider-Man. This is making his budding romance with Mary Jane Watson more aggravating than it should be. His past actions (involving a certain flying villain) have posed a threat to Peter's relationship with his best friend Harry, who has vowed to avenge his father's death. When you add to that a brilliant man controlled by his own genius (a marvelous Alfred Molina), you have a recipe for some exciting and provoking entertainment. And that is JUST what `Spider-Man 2' proves to be. Sam Raimi is at his very best here. What I admire so much about this film is that, while Raimi definitely `goes there' in the visual department, he never goes so far that the film appears fake. That was one of my biggest issues with that Spider-Mess of a third film. Everything was SOOOO computer animated that it came off like a really bad video game. Not so here. Sure, there is a lot going on, but everything maintains a crisp, slickness to it that establishes a sense of realism. Yes, I know that it is improbable that a tentacle clad man is ever going to scale buildings and wreck havoc in the streets, but Raimi made me wholly believe that it is not impossible. His attention to detail here is impeccable. I love the way that Raimi captured what it felt like to read a Spider-Man comic book as a boy. The film has this light and airy (colorful) feel to it, yet it is laced with that suspense that only comes from truly engrossing yourself in this character and his purpose. Bravo. And yet still, the most impressive facet of `Spider-Man 2' is the fact that it has a real heart. It is less the story of a superhero and more the story of a complex and conflicted young man, trying desperately to juggle his life in a way that makes the most sense; paying his dues where they belong while still developing a life that will satisfy and complete him. We are all Peter Parker, minus the superpowers. I still firmly believe that Toby Maguire was BORN to play this part, and it is still the only role I've ever really believed him in. He is not my favorite actor, but this is one of my favorite characters, and my heart is welled up in this man because of what Maguire does here. So, best superhero movie of all time?

In 2002, Sam Raimi made a Saturday morning cartoon. In 2007, Sam Raimi made an unabashed piece of s***. In 2004, Sam Raimi made an actual film with a story. I could really relate to Peter Parker's plight when I saw Spider-Man 2 theatrically. During that time, I was lazy and always late; disappointing my professors and yes, even employers. I was brilliant but couldn't quite pull it together. It's nice to be reminded of an actual personal connection I had to a superhero character. I'm tempted to make an erectile dysfunction joke about Toby Maguire losing his powers but that isn't the right metaphor so I won't. Spider-Man 2 has uncommonly witty, intentionally funny dialogue for the comic book movie genre. Here are some of my favorite exchanges: Peter: "I've been reading poetry lately." Mary Jane: "Whatever that means." Miss Brant: "Sir, your wife's on the line, she said she lost her checkbook." J. Jonah Jameson: "Thanks for the good news!" And of course, anything from Mr. Ditkovich, the humorous, debt-obsessed Russian landlord for Peter's apartment building: Ditkovich: "Rent!" Peter: "Hi." Ditkovich: "Hi? What's hi? Can I spend it?" Ditkovich: "If promises were crackers, my daughter would be fat." A happy, glasses-wearing, 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' montage is infinitely better than Spider-Man 3's jackass, emo-hair Saturday Night Fever montage. High points: Alex Ross' spectacular opening title design, Ditkovich and his family (including a cameo by Louis Lombardi aka Edgar Stiles from 24), an Evil Dead-style hospital massacre, Alfred Molina, J.K. Simmons, Doc Ock lighting a cigar with one of his tentacles, the lakeside climax and "Go get 'em, tiger". Low points: James Franco's acting, Aunt May's 30-minute monologue, little "Henry" the plot device, a mask-less Spider-Man saving dozens of saintly train passengers (in a Crucifix pose) who promise to keep his secret safe. This superior sequel ends on a curiously dark, almost chilling music cue and a worried look on Kirsten Dunst's face that left me feeling a bit uneasy.

A little Better than the First, Alot Better than Part 3 that's for sure. Good Movie, Although I can't get over why this guy plays Spider-Man/Peter Parker. Good Spidey Flick and great to watch along with Part 1.

Usually studios make sequels to mine an already played out vein. By keeping the same actors and continuing the franchise with a relatively short delay, the continuity made the film work. Fine performances by the leads were enhanced by the tremendous special effects. An excellent movie not just a weak rip off of an earlier work.

Average Rating:

More than a few critics hailed Spider-Man 2 as "the best superhero movie ever," and there's no compelling reason to argue--thanks to a bigger budget, better special effects, and a dynamic, character-driven plot, it's a notch above Spider-Man in terms of emotional depth and rich comic-book sensibility...
