My 8 month old son loves this toy. I actually found this toy at Big Lots for 3 dollars. It was the same one.

There hasn't been a new baby in our family for many years so I bought a lot of "stuff" for him when I heard he was coming along! This is one of the toys I chose for him. I don't think he has used it much yet but I'm sure it will keep his interest when he gets past the "only eating and sleeping" stage! Sassy LeapFrog Baby Curious Crab Rattle

My 3 month old grandson loves grasping his bright and colorful rattle. His "big sister" (2 years old) has a enjoys playing with him and his rattle! I consider it a very good 1st toy.

I ordered two of these--one for my grandson and one for my niece who is expecting a little girl any day now. I wanted to put a few infant toys in a gift basket which I was making for her. My grandson had no interest in it whatsoever. He as never "played" with it yet.

This was smaller than I expected it to be, but my little guy has really liked it since he was about 6 weeks old. At 9 months, he still plays with it, though not for any extended period of time. It's a good one to keep in the diaper bag to entertain him on the go.
