given as gift; well received and just what person wanted. Has tried it out and very pleased.

Only 1 out of the 3 herbs seem to be growing....The Oregano. I'm not happy with this product.

This was purchased as a gift for my daughter. I was with her when she unwrapped her gift, and she loved it, loves growing herbs. The pots are really nice also.

Pots are extremely attractive, but much smaller than I was imagining they would be...but for an inside herb garden, I guess that could be a plus. I have not planted the seeds that come with it, I bought these to plant cat grass and cat nip for my kitties. Aside from wishing they were a smidge bigger, I am pleased with this cute little set.

I am happy with the ceramic tray and containers - not happy with the seeds. One had no seeds and the seeds in the other two failed to produce.

Little Partners Learning Tower Little Partners Learning Tower

Reviews

I bought this only a couple of months ago, and although it's proven to be a life saver as far as it keeps my daughter safely entertained while I make dinner, it also has quickly shown it's flaws. First, she "washes the dishes" a lot while standing in the Tower, and it's already showing water damage even though it's not getting all that wet. The wood is splitting and drying out. I got the Natural one, and it does have a finish to it, but it's not enough I guess. I feel it's way too soon to show damage. Second, the spaces on the long sides are unnecessary and a little misleading. My 2 year old daughter isn't always aware that there's an opening on the side and sometimes, while sitting, appears as though she might lean back into the non-existent 'wall' there...and fall out! (The bar above gives a sense that's it's an entire wall.) Third, the feet on the base stick out pretty far and I stub my toes on them ALL OF THE TIME! I also wish it went one click taller, for the little ones. All in all it's been a great thing to have, but that's also because there is nothing else out there like it. It's much safer than the little kiddos just standing on a chair, but not the best (see above). It is sturdy though. Also, the company's return policy isn't that great (re-stocking fee, etc.), so call them beforehand for details, and be sure you want it!

The LP Learning Tower does allow our 2yr old to work at the counter level as we desired. Our son likes being able to help during meal time. However, the tower is very heavy (has cracked one of our kitchen floor tiles) and we have stubbed our toes countless times on the 4 very large side floor mounts that keep the tower stable(NOT shown in the photo).

I have wanted one of these since my oldest son was little(he's 9 years old now!). Either we didn't have the money, didn't have a kitchen, or didn't have a BIG enough kitchen to get one. We have a little one now and have a new home with a big open kitchen, so I figured why not? They sell for practically full price used, so if we didn't like it we could resell it with little loss. We just got ours 2 days ago. We won't be selling it anytime soon. We love it! Instead of just watching us in the kitchen sitting on the counter, our 2yo actually can help out. He has rinsed off dishes, made PB & J, sprinkled cheese on bread, stirred juice, beat eggs, and sorted frozen fruit. Then we took the platform out & put the included star cloth cover on top of the tower. He & his brother played for literally hours in it like that. Sure, it's pricey. It's super heavy & well made. And it grows with your child. And you can sell it for half to 3/4 what you paid new. It takes up about as much space as a regular sized table chair, so it isn't super duper huge but it is big & heavy. We put cloth sliders under ours to save our wood floors & make it easier to move. Parts are great! They give you an extra set of allens & extra screws & washers. Instructions are easy to read & follow. Based on other reviewers, we left off the side fins on the base of the feet. It comes with a really cool blue cloth with stars printed on it for extended play. My boys really like that part:)

I was reluctant to but the learning tower because of the price. However, the reviews I read here and elsewhere convinced me to go ahead and get it. I have not been disappointed. It is well made, sturdy and makes time in the kitchen so more more fun for both me and my child.

I think you need the right sort of kitchen, with an area of open counter space, to truly get the best use out of this item. One friend who did not ended up not using it, because they did so much prep at a kitchen table. However, I can say, without a doubt, that this tower is the single most useful item I have ever bought for my child, (except perhaps our car seat). I got it when she was maybe 15 or so months old and she just turned 6. She is in it many times every single day and often eats, does art, helps with cooking, or whatever, while I am in the kitchen. If I had to calculate how many times she has used it, I feel confident that we'd be upwards of 5,000 times. I will say that I started using it earlier than recommended, and if you do, keep a close watch because you'll have to have a small child up so high he/she could flip over the top. My child did that as a small toddler, and it was completely my fault. Luckily, she landed on her back, not her head or neck! :( It is a very sturdy, well made thing and I would most definitely buy it again! One day soon she won't need it any more and I will forever miss my little kitchen helper in her Learning Tower. I will probably keep it for a memento. sniff..

Easy Instant Decoration Wall Sticker Decal - Parisian Spring Bird in Tree Silhouette Easy Instant Decoration Wall Sticker Decal - Parisian Spring Bird in Tree Silhouette

Reviews

I bought this to cover up some scratches on our bedroom door, which is visible from the main entrance to the house. Instead of painting it (since I'm pregnant), I put this up. It was easy to apply, adheres well, looks really chic. The only thing is that you can see it's a sticker if the light catches it b/c it's a little shiny around the edges, but not a big deal. It's also shorter than I expected, about 4-5 ft tall. For the price, it's a great deal and accessory in our home.

I actually ordered this for the wall in our bedroom. It looks great - exactly like the picture. It sticks to the wall with ease, and is quick and easy to remove. The stickers are kind of glossy, so reflect light. It would be better if they were matte, as it looks sort of silly when the lights are on. One word of advice, be VERY careful when peeling the stickers from the page. Use two people if possible. If the stickers sticks to itself, or other stickers the black transfers and you end up with a mess. For the price, this is a very pleasant decoration - perfect for a change of scenery, and it is affordable enough that we can remove it and replace it when we get bored.

Average Rating:

Go and immerse yourself in a fun ambiance with these stickers! These removable, repositionable, and reusable stickers are the perfect and convenient way to adorn and decorate any space. Easy to peel off and to stick on walls, doors, windows, tables, refrigerators, and more! When you want to reposition your friends peel them off with ease without peeling off paint/wallpaper and without leaving behind any residue...

Disney's Greatest 3 Disney's Greatest 3

Reviews

That this album is great. I have a copy of this Disney album, I kinda got this album for a Christmas present before. I love this album. One of my favorite songs in this album are the Wonderful Things About Tiggers, because I love Tigger, he's a cat with good sense of humor. I also like Pink Elephants On Parade, that the pink elephants are hilarious and they're from Dumbo, after all I love the disney film Dumbo. This album is great, I kinda like all the songs in this album except for Part of Your World and Best of Friends.

My students love singing to the music during the last couple of weeks of school. They didn't realize they knew some many of the disney songs.

What can you say about Disney? We listen to all 3 volumes (I know there are tons of Disney compilations out there, but these are the orignals) in the car and my daughter changes her favorite every week. The ones from the rides are especially fun, and some of them are quite old, but still great!

My family loves listening to this CD. We have numerous Disney music CD's and we listen to them constantly in the car. I would defintely recommend this to any Disney fan.

The songs on this cd are a bit more "adult" than on the others. I really enjoy, but the kids don't really ask for this one.

Average Rating:

I love this CD! I used it a lot in my preschool school classroom. It is definitely a hit with the kids.

I had this Tape win I was a Kid and ordered on CD and it sounds the same it is good music for kids and I would recommend it to a parent and I couldn't believe they were still around today. Great job Greg and Steve stay around for a life time.

This CD is perfect for pre-school to 3rd grade students. It's full of movement activities, and catchy tunes for the children. As a parent and a teacher, I love it!

Greg & Steve CDs have become the favorite music for me and my 4 year old grandson. All are good, but this one is truly a "favorite". We know it is good because we traveled for hours playing it and didn't want to scream after two plays or two hours....in fact, we found ourselves singing the tunes well after the music was over. And my grandson has learned the words because you can actually hear what is being said. A must have!

Most of the songs on this CD are great. However, the lyrics of one song have been altered in such a manner as to make it ridiculous at best, and likely offensive to many. Instead of "He's got the whole world in His hands," it has been re-worded to "You've got the whole world in your hands." I understand that Greg & Steve may want this to be played in public school classrooms (which is where I first heard it), and some schools don't want any reference to God in the classroom, but then why not just leave this song off? Changing the words not only disassociated it from God, but the new words don't make any sense. And some children may grow up thinking those really are the words to that song. It would have been much better to have just chosen another song for their collection.

Average Rating:

With more than two million recordings sold to date, Greg and Steve hold the rank of the number-one children's music duo in the country. It's easy to see why--their singable lyrics and catchy melodies are set to a contemporary beat...

Raffi's Christmas Album Raffi's Christmas Album

Reviews

My favorite gift to give is music! We own this and it has been one of my kids' favorite Christmas albums for years. We recently included this CD together with a large stuffed Santa from Pottery Barn and gave it as a new baby gift to two babies born in December. I love hearing the children singing along with Raffi on this CD. You will love it too.

Raffi's Christmas Album is perfect for the child who likes to sing-along and the adult who has to listen to the same cd dozens of times. We both enjoyed the music and continue to listen to the cd long after the holiday season. Raffi's music has been a good investment.

I purchased this CD for our daughters (3 and 1) for Christmas. We have 2 other Raffi CDs which we enjoy very much. The Christmas one won't disappoint either. There are a few 'original' songs which is what I was looking for, but there are also some common carols that the girls recognize and like singing along to. The only downside to this CD is that the carols are accompanied by children singing (sometimes for half the song without Raffi singing at all). I was a little disappointed, but the girls don't care, so it shouldn't matter. I was surprised to hear 'Must be Santa' as I haven't heard that song since my childhood and I love it. Good choice to add to your children's Christmas CD collection.

There are plenty of better Raffi CDs out there. There are plenty of better Christmas CDs out there. While nothing on this CD was really bad, nothing on it was especially distinctive. While not obnoxious, his style just doesn't seem to fit for most of the Christmas songs.

Raffi should be brought back....this is my second generation getting his songs and they love him.

Average Rating:

Celebrate the Christmas holidays with old and new favorites, along with Raffi's inspiring Every Little Wish. Here is the perfect holiday collection for the whole family. Includes printed lyrics. Frosty the Snowman, Up on the House-Top, The First Noel, Must Be Santa, Deck the Halls, and many more.

Madeline and the Toy Factory [VHS] Madeline and the Toy Factory [VHS]

Reviews

Seeing the children run amok in a toy store, Miss Clavell decides to take them to a toy factory. The ever-energetic Madeline falls onto a conveyor belt, and is boxed up as a doll. Thinking that this will be great fun, Madeline plays the part, and is purchased for a sickly little girl named Gizelle. Gizelle has no friends of her own, and feels quite bad when Miss Clavell arrives to take Madeline home. Madeline comes to the rescue, but organizing an outing for all of Miss Clavell's girls to Gizelle's house, where they make her part of the group. I loved this movie for several reasons. First of all, this movie has the same quality of all the Madeline cartoons. Secondly, I loved the lesson that it taught. This is an excellent movie.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer & The Island of Misfit Toys [VHS] Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer & The Island of Misfit Toys [VHS]

Reviews

This new Rudolph uses digital animation instead of the wonderful stop-motion action of the original, and it's a poorly-scripted, miserably-executed mess. It's an unfortunate appendage to one of my favorite childhood specials, and I hope someone takes a magnet to it. No matter, though -- my kids have already forgotten it. Don't even consider buying "Island of Misfit Toys" unless you've exhausted the wonderfully-creative originals. They are decades better than this quickly-conceived piece of shlock.

I was amazed by how horrible the CGI graphics were. If you are going to try to revive a classic please do it right. Instead, the visuals look like someone has a 'make your own animated film' software on a PC at home and whipped them up in one night. Wow, what a horrendous thing this film is- poor story, poor visuals, poor writing- there are 200 Christmas movies on Amazon someone should consider before this. Please do yourself a favor and don't subject your family to this.

The graphics and coloration of this movie are great. The story is charming. It's a winner.

Too bad computer animation was so new when they did this b/c it's terrible. The story is pretty good but the should have kept it in line with all the other Rankin Bass and done the stop-motion puppets ... come to thing of it ... they should totally take this exact movie and do just that b/c the animation is that bad.

This is an abomination to the entire film industry and a disgrace and insult to the original 1964 classic. The animation looks like some amateur bought a 'CGI For Dummies' book and made it on their home computer. Like other users remarked there is no texture to the images, the graphics look like something out of a cheap children's video game, in which the paper thin plot would have been more suitable for. Gosh, the 30 second AFLAC commercial that spoofed Rudolph had more production value than this 90 minutes of gutter trash! This had so much potential to be a decent sequel but greed, as always in modern movie making, killed it with a slapped together rush job all for the sake of capitalizing off the Rudolph franchise and the integrity of the original!

This is a great DVD. I always loved this movie and now my kids got to see it and they loved it. This DVD even looks great in color too.

this is the original, there are several copies with similiar titles, but this is the real deal that I watch as a kid. my son in law loved it.vd

March of the wooden soldiers has been a Christmas season favorite since my children were toddlers. I have always been a fan of Laurel and Hardy. I was delighted to find that it had been released to DVD and that I could purchase it. I like the black and white version best, although the colorization isn't bad. I liked that both versions were included. It is a simple story of good vs bad and my grandchildren were amply entertained while learning a lesson.

They didn't air this movie on Thanksgiving in 2009, as they usually do, so I bought it to kick off my Christmas season with. This DVD has both the colorized version and the black and white version for purists like my dad. Great value and great buy!

Loved The Bishops Wife and Pocketfull fo Miracles. Did not care much for March of the Wooden Soldiers.

Jingle All the Way (Family Fun Edition) Jingle All the Way (Family Fun Edition)

Reviews

Jingle All The Way is a movie for the whole family. It is good clean fun, and Sinbad is halirious!!

I don't think Jingle All The Way should be called a classic, nor should it be called a dud. I think it's a very adequate Christmas movie. I hate parts of it, and I like parts of it. What I hate about it is Jake Lloyd and Sinbad. Lloyd is a terrible actor, and he proves it here (and further in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace). Sinbad is just acting as his usual self; his performance here isn't really that special. What I did like about this movie, however, is Schwarzenegger, Hartman, and Wilson: all three of them give good performances. It's especially really fun to see Schwarzenegger in a comedy (and that includes Twins and Kindergarten Cop). Sure, he may not be the best actor on Earth, but he can entertain just about everyone if the occasion calls for either action or comedy. Here, you can tell that he's had some fun during filming. Overall, this is just an OK movie, but you would definitely have to see it for Auh-nold doing some very good comedic work. Grade: C

Jingle All the Way is one of the funnest and funniest Christmas movies ever made. The actors are great (Phil Hartman, Sinbad, Jim Belushi, Robert Conrad, Arnold, Mrs Hanks, Martin Mull, and more) and the action is fast-paced. My favorite part is Belushi and the rip-off Santas. That scene is hysterical. We're not talking about poignancy on the level of "A Christmas Story", but this is a really fun movie. My kids are teens now and we never miss watching this one at Christmas time. (I'm not sure who Jim Gay is, but boy what a Grinch. Lighten up, bro!)

Before Arnold became gov of Ca he used to star in movies. This is a good one. The late Phil Hartman what a great comedian shines in this one. I bet Arnold wish he was still making movies instead of fighting the economy in ca.

The year 1996 was a very good year for the brothers Sid. It was pretty much right in the thick of the greatest times we speak of often packed with so many classic memories. Besides all that good stuff it was also the year Arnold decided to grace the Christmas movie genre with his bulky presence in Jingle all the way. It's almost the perfect way to bring in the holiday season next to a hilarious screening of Merry X-Miss with a tall cup of gingerbread coffee while Santa leaving the windows opened to freeze you out, it will be nice I think you will love it. Not to mention is has an extensive quantity of fantastic soundboard classics like "let me talk to your mother get your mother please," "who told you you could eat my cookies!," and "It's turbo time." In Jingle All the Way (Good, now we are having fun edition) Arnold plays a somewhat distant father on a mission to give his kid a Turbo Man toy in hopes of winning his affection. Along to way he turns postal employee Sinbad into an arch enemy as they battle each other for the only Turbo Man toy left in town. Eventually he is accidentally dressed up as Turbo Man and thrown into the Christmas parade where he takes on Sinbad in the ultimate feats of strength. Really a hilarious corny Christmas comedy that features Mickey from Seinfeld dressed up as an elf. They must have liked his work from the episode where he also played an elf next to Communist Kramer Santa as he spread propaganda to all the eager children. So after plenty of laughs thanks to Arnie we will certainly recommend Jingle All the Way to spread plenty of Christmas joy. Ohhh Boy!

Average Rating:

It's Christmas Eve, and Arnold needs to find a Turbo Man action figure, the craze of the season. Only they're sold-out, of course. So the race is on, and Arnold does fierce battle with other shoppers and merchants alike, all for the prize toy with which to purchase his son's affections...

Sesame Street - Christmas Eve on Sesame Street Sesame Street - Christmas Eve on Sesame Street

Reviews

A long time family favorite, was impossible to find anywhere else but Amazon. My children loved this and they wanted to share it with their children. So the next generation gets to enjoy thanks to Amazon!!!

We originally seen this on PBS in 1987, we fell in love with all the characters at that time. This is a wonderful, family special should be seen by everyone, and will be treasured for many many years. This one is a GOT TO SEE. The music is so wonderful, you will be singing it all season long.

The first segment is the Sesame Street characters "on ice", and Oscar goes flying through the air, out of the ice rink, and crashes into things. Pretty scary for our 2.5 year old.

Once I saw this again, it brought back happy memories of Mr. Hooper and the old gang at Sesame Street. Those were fun times!

This is an oldie but goodie. Kids are mesmerized by Big Bird's quest for Santa. The quick short segments keep the attention of children while providing entertainment for their parents. A good one to watch with your children.

My daughter asked for this as a replacement for the one we lost. It is a fun little ball. The first one we had came in a nice box but this one just came in plastic. It had some marks on it but, since it was going to be bouncing around anyway, I just kept it.

My son says: I love this ball. It bounces higher with low noise and it's just good! I say, hours and hours of fun for minimal cost. It is less noisy, which I really like and the color makes it easy to find if it rolls away. These aren't always available in stores, so it's great to find them here. We will buy more as need arises...

I bought these for my sons. But I remember them bouncing higher. They didn't bounce higher than a Jacks ball. They are durable though and will definitely take a lot of abuse.

I was hoping to find a true hi-bounce ball to teach my 8 year old granddaughter to play the games I did when growing up. This ball did not have a high bounce, but also bounces at a diagonal on the way up. Useless!

I don't use this ball for playing, I use it to give myself a back or foot massage. It works perfectly when used between your back and a flat wall or floor. I was using a tennis ball but the fuzz on the tennis ball tended to make it slide on the wall, as opposed to roll. [...]

I don't know if you can buy those cookies anymore, but that is what this candle reminds me of. Remember the Christmas sugar cookies in the 80's (and before I am sure) that came in the bag with the sprinkles? That is what this one reminds me of! Everytime I smell this candle I am taken back to the Christmases of my childhood. If you like sugar cookies, you'll love this candle!

The scent of this candle is unique and pleasant. I wouldn't say it smells exactly like a Christmas cookie but it smells great nevertheless.

The smell of this candle is delicious. It reminds me of baking Christmas cookies and has that just baked smell to it. I have it in the tumbler, and it also seems to me that the Yankee Candles smell stronger than most candles I have bought in the past. I would definitely recommend this product. The sugary cookie smell would still be good to have around the house after Christmas is gone.

This has always been my mom's favorite Christmas candle and when I smell it I think of her. Yankee always makes a great candle that will spread a nice smell through out your home and this scent is no exception. It makes the whole house smell like someone is baking cookies for Santa :)

The smell of the candle itself is fantastic however it is not a strong smell. We had ours lit for 3 hours and could barley smell anything.

This is an electronic version of a cross between a small xylophone and a pocket synthesizer. It's a lot of fun!

It might be easy to pass this mini-synth off as just a useless toy. Yes, it is plastic and yes, it is dirt cheap! However, this is a reproduction of a classic instrument invented in the 1960s and has found it's place in many influential recording since it's release in 1967. Featuring all the original features of the original with an added audio through input and volume control, this little bit of Electronic Music Gadgetry is one cool stocking stuffer for the Electronic Musician. Noted recordings which feature this instrument are David Bowie's 'Space Oddity', Kraftwerk's 'Pocket Calculator' and it's featured regularly on a few They Might be Giants songs. Most of us can afford the small penny this thing costs and I seriously recommend it!

Part of the clacker with stripes was broken off. I had to ht glue gun it back on. Then, after usage by my students, the screw part came undone. Had to hammer the screw the nut wouldn't come off. It works now. I had to tell my students not to clack it so hard but it's functional.

What can I say? It's a " t o y ". lol Cute, but you can't write on it with chalk at all. If you need a quick and cheap working clapper board for a video project, you'll need to print out a graphic of a real white dry erase type clapper board from the web, and apply the print out to the toy, and then put a clear plastic film or clear tape over it to make it a working clapper board. I did this with mine while I was waiting for a real clapper board to show up a week later. The toy worked just fine for my production durring the wait.

I bought this for my son because he loves making videos. I was disappointed with the size - it's only about 10" x 12" and it's not very durable. But he liked it and it made a fun Christmas gift. It's not bad for a piece of room decor, but if you want a real one to actually use - this isn't it.

I dont actualy have this toy but I've seen them use them in the movies and I'm a big time director so I know what their for I may have given it a very big amount for fun but thats when were not making a movie & if you dont have a camera so I'd recomend buying it for I am buying one for myself BUY THIS TOY !!!!!
